I recently had the pleasure of dining at a small local Mexican restaurant that truly exceeded all expectations. Despite its unassuming exterior, this hidden gem boasts an exceptional culinary experience that left me wanting more.

The birria at this restaurant is nothing short of extraordinary - it was truly out of this world. The rich flavors and tender meat made for a mouthwatering dish that I will not soon forget. If you're a fan of traditional Mexican cuisine, the birria here is an absolute must-try.

My daughter opted for the el pastor, and it was a decision we did not regret. In fact, it was one of the best el pastor dishes I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. The perfect blend of spices and the succulent meat made each bite a delight.

Crazy how this place has so many good reviews. Tried this place today for the first time based solely on the reviews. Initial thought, place was filthy. Garbage and papers strewn about on the counter where you order. Then you can see into the back kitchen which looked even worse! They got 1 guy who is both the cook and takes the orders so he will come from the kitchen, take your order, handle money and cards, then go back to cooking food like nothing. There were 2 people ahead of me and I waited 40 minutes and paid 30 dollars for 8 tacos. Now as for the tacos, they were absolutely flavorless. I paid a premium for 2 lengua and 2 tripas and believe me when I tell you they were the smallest, least packed tacos I've ever seen in my life. Barely a couple pieces of meat and hardly no onion or cilantro. The asada was also flavorless and not real ranchera, rather that ground taco meat you find at the grocery store. The guy took my order was very polite. And I love how he gave me multiple options of cheese and if I want whole beans or refried beans. To the level of spice salsa. The food god damn amazing! Got a large quesabirria, so good n flavorful juicy. The consome was fantastic. Perfect to share for the whole family. Your guys carne is very tender and bursting with flavor. Don't get me on the al pastor. I had that in a burrito. And me personally is the best damn al pastor up in the high desert. Definately worth the prise. Will be coming back very soon.
