Tom's Famous Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Hesperia

Please bare with me if you have the patients and interest. In reading this review. After visiting a loved one in the hospital. And mourning the loss. Of my younger brother. My sister, and, I had not eaten all day. We decided to stop at Toms's Famous burgers. For a long overdue meal. I understand that no one is perfect. Everyone goes through struggles in life. With this being stated. The customer service we received on January the 3rd, 2022 at around 8:00 pm. The young mexican female that took our order. Was beyond rude, her displaced demeanor. Felt as if we were bothering her. Her attitude was downright nasty. There was no hello, or a response to our thank you. I asked for an iced tea. I received raspberry tea instead. And when I kindly asked for a different drink. Again I was met with an attitude. The salads we both ordered were awesome. No complaints about the food. Just the service, you never know what people ate going through. Just saying, when your working in customer service. That is a choice. I'm not judging at all. I have worked in customer service. And never treated anyone! Even if I was met with disrespect. Honestly, my sister and, had to hold our composures. That's how bad it was. We Bit our tongue's and, tried truly hard to keep our hands to ourselves. Had this been us, back in the day! Hmmmm. I truly hope management handles this issue. I have been to this Tom's several times. The last time I went there I was not pleased with the bathroom situation that was going on because there was a man in the women's restroom who would not come out. I went there with my husband yesterday, on June 8th. The food was not made good at all. I had an omelette which was made very dry with no cheese inside of it. There were two slices of cheese on top of the omelet. I asked for no hash browns and no toast and if I could get some French toast instead. I was charged an extra $1.99 for one slice of toast. Many other restaurants include French toast or pancakes as a choice and do not charge extra. I wanted to get some powdered sugar to go on my French toast. When I went up to the front to ask for some a lady very rudely said can I help you man without even looking at me while she was doing something else. I asked her are you talking to me. She said yes, while staying busy walking around. I asked her for the powdered sugar and she said, I'll bring it to you in a minute. I waited about 10 minutes. I asked for another waiter to bring me some powdered sugar. It is ridiculous that I had to wait so long for a simple condiment. Then, today when my husband and I got up in the morning, we were not feeling so well. We had only eaten at Tom's yesterday and we were feeling very sick and had symptoms of food poisoning. Be careful what you eat there. We won't...

My family and I are huge fans of Toms because we grew up in Carson where they have a Toms#1 on Sepulveda...I moved to victorville and started going to this one on Bear Valley rd. It's a roller coaster going to this on...a bad roller coaster...I usually order chilli cheese fries with pastrami(to go) regularly. A few times we've order it the plates have only been 3/4 full, huge empty spaces in the plate, felt alittle ripped off but whatever, we never really let it get to us that much and jus dealt with it...but the last 2 trips, TWICE,......TWICE (imcluding today) in a roll my brothers n I ordered an Signature Omelette with chilli and no peppers to go, along with a bunch of other stuff for other family members so wen we picked it up we never really checked...got home and both times there were peppers with NO chilli on our omelette, total opposite of what I ordered...sooo pissed, we've paid for the chilli which is an additional topping...idk why I even bother anymore...most likely won't go back...
