Yoshi Japanese Cuisine — Restaurant in Hesperia

I have never reviewed a restaurant on the internet, but felt compelled to after a terrible experience last night. After sitting in traffic for 2 hours we thought it would be nice to treat ourselves to sushi, wow, this restaurant was the wrong choice. As soon as they saw all you can eat marked on the menu the entire staff switched a gear to bitchy, unresponsive, stingy, and rude. You are not an appreciated customer here. We ordered a variety of things from the "all you can eat" menu, which has several rules the waitress very rudely went over with us as if we were the rif Raf begging for money on our way though the parking lot. When the orders came to the table, 5 of the same roll was delivered, not the variety we ordered. Meat was very thinly sliced and almost non existant. We effectively spent $100 to be treated like trash while being served mostly crab meat and rice.. if you dont know what good sushi is, like being ignored and insulted by service, appreciate heartburn for the rest of your night, and like fake smiles and un interested "thank you" when you try to talk to a manager, then yoshi sushi in Hesperia is for you. I don't understand lazy/ rude servers not trying to earn a tip, or restaurant keeping such servers on the floor to represent it's image. I would definitely manage the business...

My family and I have been coming here for years (10 plus to be exact) and we have NEVER had service like we had tonight! We ordered the all you can eat (which we always do) and a separate roll for my kids. The lady left us a menu to keep to reorder if we wanted to and a guy came and told me he needed to take it because the chef "doesn't like people to use it as a placemat" (then proceeded to place it along side the table against the wall).

Then my kids wanted to try a bite of our sushi roll, so we allowed them a bite. Then a lady came and said "only people who are eating 'all you can eat' are allowed to eat the rolls. The kids finished the one roll they took a bite then the guy came and said "do you want me to add them to the all you can eat" no, they were finishing their bite.

Then we were watched by three (if not more) people the WHOLE time we ate. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I was so uncomfortable.

I once would have said they were great, but their staff make this place horrible. The "chefs" behind the counter kept making little comments of saying "I have a sign where I can refuse service" don't worry, based on the reviews before me, you won't be having job much longer.

If I could give a zero I would. Don't waste your time, find another...

We went to try their all-you-can-eat menu for the first time. THEY WERE SO DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE AND TREATED US LIKE CHILDREN?? The waitress was so mean, disrespectful, and just a negative person overall.

Like you’re a restaurant, if we get to order twice for the menu why did you give us the check after one order and then say you couldn’t make anymore sushi. The wait staff was rude and unkind. I don’t expect to go eat somewhere and be treated like garbage because I didn’t eat all the rice?? Like what kind of establishment is this?? We’re PAYING CUSTOMERS. What the actual hell??

The food was mediocre at best as well. You shouldn’t be out here trying to force rice down people’s throats and then being rude and disrespectful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I hope they hire better staff because that was the worst experience I’ve ever had here. That lady was so mean. Never...
