The delivery driver, her name was Melba I believe, had a very poor attitude. I’m a young adult, currently unemployed due to certain circumstances and had the points to get a free pizza so that’s what I did. Dominos doesn’t deliver unless you’ve spent up to $10 and my boyfriend decided to pay to get himself a sandwich when we shouldn’t have even done that anyways because then we’d have to be concerned about tipping and we didn’t have money for tip but we also don’t currently have a working car so we opted for delivery so I could get my free pizza and goddammit times are so tough now I just wanted a damn pizza. At 11:30 at night Melba came knocking on the door to deliver us the pizza already having a negative attitude as soon as we opened the door and greeted her but when we couldn’t tip she started yelling. At 11:30 at night. She woke up my whole family, my neighbors came out to find out what was happening and she basically caused a huge scene. I WAS a regular at this dominos location and generally tipped as much as I could to the best of my ability and this one time I couldn’t, I was actually planning on going back to the store once my boyfriend got paid to leave the lady a decent tip to make up for not being able to but with the scene she caused and how embarrassed I felt I’m not going to give her anything and I’m not going back to this dominos. I already felt terrible about not being able to tip and just felt bad in general (who the hell orders pizza that late during a weekday unless your life is out of control) and her attitude made me feel so much worse. I felt so guilty and crappy I wanted to return the food and not go back there at all but I know once food is made if a customer returns it, it is thrown out so after I was able to calm down I ate it. Also just wanted to add that the drivers very sour LOUD attitude caused things to be so tense within my house that it caused an argument between my boyfriend and I and our family to be upset with US. As usual dominos food is delicious, it was excellent, if I could rate on just the food alone I would say it was very pleasant but Melba made the whole experience terrible. I was a regular at this dominos whenever I had the money to order from there and I would have my friends go there a lot as well but I’ll make sure to bring our business to a different location and not to yours. Young adults such as myself are generally very generous and try our best to tip as much as we can because we know the struggle, middle aged and older adults do not care as much and do not sympathize as much or buy pizza as much. Realistically speaking, we are your main customer base and you’ve just lost my business and the 10+ friends I have in the area that order from your location (fairly frequently may I add) and whomever reads this review and decides to not order online so as not to potentially have to deal with that personality. Based on other reviews here, that lady is rude in general and I feel as if you guys are going to lose a lot of business if you don’t get her to act civil. I understand it was late and I understand that I wasn’t able to tip this time but I do whenever I do order and it’s pretty frequently. I was legit just claiming a free pizza, it’s very clear I don’t have money. I sympathize with anyone working in fast food and will try my best to tip them a good amount this time I couldn’t. Sure maybe I shouldn’t have gotten any food to begin with if I couldn’t tip the driver but I’m currently broke and just wanted a win, I just wanted my delicious free pizza and I couldn’t even eat it feeling fully content with it because of that terrible experience. I already have current things in my life overwhelming me, the last thing I need is someone I was planning on tipping anyways (just when I had the money) yelling at me for not tipping. I make sure not to give attitude to people because I do not know what’s going on in their lives, someone who’s supposed to be dealing with customers should not be dishing out an attitude. That’s how you lose business! 10/10 would...
Read moreI have never had a manager argue with me about an order THEY got wrong. Jose Lopez was the delivery driver who forgot an item from my order. He offered to return to the store, get the missing item and return. 6 hours passed and he never returned. I called the store to get a refund on the item I never received, and the manager Alex proceeded to argue with me about how long I waited to call the store about a missing item in my order, and even hung up on me. Well excuse me for giving your driver a chance to keep his word and deliver my FULL order. Keep in mind, the Domino's website says a customer has 16 hours to report any inconsistencies with an order. The manager refused to give me a refund because he was so sure I ate the rest of my order. Of course I did, was I supposed to wait around for hours for them bring the missing item? No. I had other things to do. I'm not sure where Alex got his customer service training, but he needs to go back and try again. I regret giving the driver a 20% tip for delivering only part of my order, not returning back like promised, and not mentioning to the store there was an item missing. According to Alex, the manager, it's MY fault I didn't receive the missing item since the driver didn't mention anything to him when he returned to the store and I didn't call quick enough to let them know there was an issue...
Read moreThe wrong pizza was delivered to my house and I thought “well, I’ll call so once I’m there my pizza will be ready” but clearly that was a problem. They were completely ignoring the phone and I’ll tell you why. I had been calling for 20 minutes and when I walked in the phone was ringing straight and everyone was ignoring it, granted, there was ONE customer in there. When we asked if we could get a refund or at LEAST the pizza we asked for all the worker told us was “well, it’s going to take a while because we have a lot of orders”. Thank you for focusing SO much on customer service and trying to comply with people. We left with our thin, plain, garlic crust less cheese pizza that we did not order, super unsatisfied. My family and I are huge dominoes customers that buy for every event we have, and days that we don’t want to eat in. That will no longer happen now. Thank you for being so considerate and helpful to somebody’s simple request. And lastly, please stop ignoring the phones, I get that it’s busy and you don’t want anymore orders, but in this case, your laziness made me get out of my house (which is the last thing I wanted to do, and that’s why I ordered pizza) to only leave with the same pizza I didn’t want, no refund, and they did not feel bad...
