Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Hialeah

There is an altercation beforehand with some of my group, I won't go too much into it out of the respect of their privacy but I do believe that should have been handled better so that definitely contributed to the score then I'm leaving. Another thing besides that altercation it's not her fault really but the woman that was taking our order she was new so nothing against her but she did get frustrated and just kind of left us there for a little while her trainer included, so I thought that was kind of odd. I do hope she's okay and doing better now. She did come back to give her some credit, i suppose, and did apologize, though, so that was good. Our waitress was also very good it was a restaurant so she was busy at times so natually she couldn't always get to us but for what she was able to do, she did very well so good on her! Now the food itself was pretty good, there was definitely love put into the food I would say but not all of the food felt like it had the same amount of love as others. Food such as like the cheesecake or the burgers, just to name a few, however, from what one of my group members has said. The chicken and fish were very good, and I enjoyed the nachos and other foods that I can't remember right now. we're all good as well. The atmosphere was nice, very pretty atmosphere nice and clean, so there no complaints there. Overall personally I don't think I would want to come back, this is not the restaurant's fault per se this is more so of how far the restaurant is but if given if my group really wanted to I wouldn't really mind that much coming back if everybody wanted and I didn't have to drive lol. I've been going to the Golden Corral in Hialeah since December 2020. I'm a long time guest at various ones in California.This Golden Corral is the best I ever go to in all the ones I've been to.

I came in 2 hours before dinner. The Lunch is always great for the price they charge. The food is outstanding lunch or Dinner

I was taken by my Busser. Her name is Mailen. She gave me the best service I've ever gotten from any Busser in past Golden Corrals. And she gives everyone else the same service. She keeps her section very clean and she's fast to refill everybody's drinks

Now, it's August 2025 . I've been coming back twice a month since I first started coming to this Golden Corral. Mailen is the best Busser ever, that you will ever find anywhere.

Who is the best Busser I have ever had throughout my years in going to buffets.

I changed up on the food I ate from last month and I had some delicious desserts this time. I love the Carrot cake and they had some nice cupcakes, too.

Please if you want a great experience. Make sure you sit in Mialen's section you will get great service each time.

Who knows, you may see there eating on any given day you come to try the Golden Corral.

Golden Corral Visit – A Disappointing Second Experience (Hialeah Location)

This was only my second time visiting a Golden Corral, and unfortunately, it left a lot to be desired. While the staff was friendly and attentive—which we truly appreciated—the overall cleanliness and dining conditions were incredibly disappointing.

Right from the start, we struggled to find clean plates. Most were greasy or looked like they hadn’t been washed thoroughly. Booths and tables were dirty, and food was scattered on the carpeted floors, making the environment feel neglected and unsanitary. While it’s understandable that you can’t control every customer’s behavior, the restaurant itself should be maintained to a much higher standard.

What concerned us most was seeing guests eating while hovering over the buffet as they served themselves. This created a very unhygienic atmosphere, especially with no staff visibly monitoring the area. It made the entire dining experience feel uncomfortable and unsanitary.

To make things worse, the total came out to nearly $52 for just the two of us— that didn’t even include drinks. For that price, we expected far better.

As someone who has family working in Golden Corral management—my uncle manages a well-run location in Ohio—I know the brand is capable of much higher standards. Sadly, this visit didn’t reflect that potential, and I don’t see myself returning to this location...
