Our experience was very sad because the first time we came (even though they had only been open 1 week and were out of many items), the service was amazing. We came back now 3 weeks later and here we are with horrendous service. From the moment they called us that our table was ready and we all walk up, they keep looking behind us calling us. I say yes, hi, that's us... they call past me again. Finally the light bulb turns on and he realizes we are the party they are calling. The server didn't bring water for anyone, including our 5 year old son. 2 people had ordered sodas and those finally came out, but nothing else. Still not even water, so I said I need something for my son to drink. Her reply was that his lemonade had to be made by the bar. I had to spell out that my son will need something to drink at least since we were eating bread. She seemed confused, so I asked someone else to bring water. That person noticed no one had water and most had nothing at all to drink. The appetizers came out and the onion was very dark (I have gone to many Outback locations over the years). Of course it was due to being very overseasoned, way too salty, inedible. When the drinks came out, the lemonade put in front of my 5 yr old looked wrong. Luckily I asked because it turns out that was actually an alcoholic drink for someone on the other end of the table. My 5 year old waited longer that everyone else for his lemonade and then it was brought out in a tall Styrofoam cup that had pieces of strawberry and drops of lemonade all around the outside, and NO LID. I asked about regular kid cups, the response was they have them but no lids. I say ok does this have a lid? I'm told no. The manager then asks how things are, I say well, not great. I ask if there is a covered cup? He returns with a kid cup and lid that fits both cups.
After a very long wait without even our salads, they bring some of the salads and leave. I had to ask for the missing salads. I also asked about the soups and children's food. When she went to check, everything came out and we had not even started our salads. Clearly they delayed too much with the salads. At this point there was no space whatsoever for anything with so many plates.
The 2 soups were horribly salty, inedible as well. If only it stopped there... the chicken and shrimp pasta was also saturated in that salty/spicy orange seasoning to the point that everything was dark orange/brown. I have never been served anything at Outback that was this level of overseasoned and coated. It felt almost intentional at this point. The food was all cooked wrong. The medium well steak was medium rare, the medium was cold in the center and dripping red, with only the 1mm exterior cooked. Obviously it was rare. The side dishes were all wrong. The mashed potatoes were brought out baked potatoes, the plain sweet potato I ordered was full of cinnamon and sugar AND an extra side of MORE cinnamon and sugar. I asked for a correct potato, and when that came back, the mashed potatoes that were missing still had not come back.
At this point some of us decided to just take our food home and try to improve it ourselves so we could eat it. I ask for a box, she brings 1. Next person asks for a box, she brings 1 more. 3rd person asks for a box, she finally thinks to bring 2, but there were no more full plates. We now have a stack of full boxes, but still have no bag. We ask for a bag and she brings 3. I've already given up. When we ask for the check, she starts picking up plates, and asks me if I want another drink. Lol. Timing is fantastic.
It was unfortunate that anywhere something could go wrong, it did. We were all so disappointed that we all mutually agreed next outing we will go back to Longhorn across the street.
I wish I could give zero stars or even take one away, but 1 is the lowest option. I find 1 star generous for the horrible experience we all had today.
I do not recommend this particular Outback location. If you really want Outback, drive a few more minutes and go to the old one in...
Read moreTrucker passing through Miami. I was starving after making it to my drops on time, cha-ching! IYKYK,lol. It was a coin toss between this spot and Golden Corral across the street. Well Outback won. Entered and it was icy cold. I expected it, but they should really ease up on the air doing fall season. It was not crowded so I was seated immediately. The waitress came shortly and took my order quickly, she seemed polite. My drink came out fast and so did the bread. The bread was a little burnt but the appetizer arrived to the table before I could complain so I didn't bother. Before I knew it my surf & turf meal was at the table. My filet was cooked to perfection with as little pink in the middle as possible without burning it👌🏾. The shrimp and rice were cooked well and slightly seasoned. The baked potato was cooked to the correct temperature with a salted outside. It lacked shredded cheese and no green onions from my order so I requested it. Waitress was quick to bring out a small container of cheese but she tripped and in an effort to catch herself she gripped the cheese container/table and her fingers went into the cheese wasting some on the table. It was for sure an accident and she immediately apologized and said she would grab another. The weird thing is she left the mess of cheese on the table. She returned with another container of cheese and still didn't remove the 1st container. I was like oookay, who's going to tell her? I know I could have requested she remove the container but I thought it would seem rude to say out loud. It should have been protocol to remove the now finger cheese or at the very least assumed. I did enjoy my meal and the refills were without asking but that finger cheese became an eye sore on the table and I was so distracted by the cheese drama I never got the green onions. I still left her a tip, but her leaving the cheese on the table implied that I would still use it, and that's a hard...

I had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had at this location. From the moment we sat down, things went downhill. The first waitress who approached us was wearing a visibly dirty uniform, and her hair looked completely unkempt—honestly, it was very unhygienic and off-putting.
We tried to politely bring up our concerns to another waitress, hoping the situation would improve. Unfortunately, they sent someone even worse—clearly untrained, with no sense of how to properly serve food. They threw the plates on the table without a word, like we were an inconvenience.
At that point, I asked to speak with the manager. To my surprise, the person who showed up was the same person who had just thrown our food on the table. He looked disheveled, acted dismissively, and was dressed in a way that made me question if he really worked there. When I calmly asked, “Do you realize how dirty your employees are?” he just looked at me, gestured dismissively with his hands, and said, “Have a nice day,” as if we were the problem.
Now I understand why the restaurant was nearly empty. If this is how the staff is managed, it's no wonder people are choosing to go elsewhere. The manager's appearance, attitude, and lack of professionalism reflect a total disregard for customers and cleanliness. It seems he gets paid whether clients walk in or not—and it shows.
Avoid this place until there's serious change in management and staff training. You’re better off spending your money...
