Randomly decided to go to iHop with my fiance' since his parents came from out of town and were able to watch the kids, and I'm so glad we did! As soon as I walked in and saw that friendly familiar smile I knew we made the right choice, Roberto had served us before and I knew we were in great hands. I trusted Roberto's recommendation for most of my order and had the vanilla iced coffee with whipped cream for my drink. He informed me that they had changed whip creams and that this one basically had no taste so we added oreo crumbles. So yummy. For apps we had the chicken quesadilla and the shrimp and they both came out quickly and hot; delicious! For our entrĂ©es I had the turkey club but I added 2 fried over easy eggs which paired perfectly with the bacon and avocado, my fiance ordered his Philly cheesesteak but he added sautĂ©ed mushrooms. The star of the show (besides the phenomenal service we received) were the oreo waffles đŸ€€ my goodness. So good I had to order some more to go. Roberto was kind enough to pack up my leftovers for me and he even made me a little aluminum foil swan! What a great worker. He was pretty much the only person on the floor. He deserves a raise ASAP. A perfect end to our night. Thanks for your hospitality Roberto! We'll definitely be back 💯💯

After visiting this restaurant almost every Sunday for breakfast, today is my last time. For the last few months I have been complaining about the food in this restaurant, quality the way it is prepared and accuracy the way my food I request to be cooked. The only reason I have kept coming back is because of the excellent service we always receive from the two waitress we always request, Linda or Diana, but unfortunately it is not up to them the way the cooks prepared the food. Today my wife asked for fried eggs and received scramble eggs, the toast were drenched in butter and her hash brown was an oily mess, my hash was the same and since we had to wait for her fried eggs my breakfast was cold by the time I ate it. The manager never showed up and send one of his cards with the waitress for a 20% discount stating he would have a meeting with the cooks and re-train them. Well, the time to train employees is before they screw up not after, and 20% discount doesn't make up for a terrible experience. Maybe next time when your service is not up to the excellence the customer expect, you the manager should go out and face your customers, in my case I don't need a discount.

We practically took over Ihop with a large group of 13 last night, We had an amazing waitress her name was Jacqueline Sanchez. She helped us put 3 tables together so we could all sit, she was so patient with us giving us time to decide what we wanted to eat and she also held great conversation with me which proved great customer service, it was appreciated very much. At the end of the dinner when i asked to take my hot chocolate home she even poured it for me so i wouldn’t burn myself and even poured it in 1 cup then put that cup inside another cup so i didn’t struggle holding it and risk burning my hand on my way to the car. And after the struggle of separating all of the checks she even gave me a hug to show appreciation for my tip. These are all things i’m always expecting when going to a restaurant, i am glad i had such wonderful experience all thanks to Jacqueline, i recommend everyone to visit this location.

It was Monday Morning Exactly Around The Times Between 1:OO [AM] ‘&’ 2:50(ish) [AM]. -3 days ago from today , 5-26-22.. I came to eat with my great uncle. My uncle just came from Cuba and was having a rough night and couldn't sleep. He tried I HOP for his first time a week ago at the location close to MIA (airport). He wanted to go again because the service and food at that other location was amazing. Unfortunately that location is not 24 hours so we came to this IHOP located on 49th St.

So I, (Young female, 28 years old) - and my uncle walked in. No one was at the Host' Stand. a young female waitress came out and said we could sit on her side of the restaurant. She said this from across the room holding a broom. We grabbed our own menus and sat ourselves. every single booth was dirty. We sat ourselves at the only booth that we thought was clean but was definitely not clean as we noticed sticky residue on the table. She didn't come over to wipe it for us or to give us silverware either. I had to call her over to take our order when we were ready. Still didn't clean the table and sill no silverware. Every single table was dirty on her side of the restaurant. She was cleaning but there was no progress at all in her actions. as the same tables were still the same way when we left as they were when we arrived... still no tables wiped and set. (It's 1:00am, it wasn't time for closing shift side work duties) our drinks came out with my plate I ordered which were swedish crepes that were for sure sitting on the side throughout the shift . they were hard and no powdered sugar was on them. then the 2x2x2 my uncle ordered did not get his meal for about 13 minutes after my plate came out. I had to ask again from across the room for his food. in that 13 minutes time frame she greeted two young girls for take out and took her time at the front organizing her check book and still "cleaning".... our drinks were two strawberry milkshakes and they were not made correctly. No fresh strawberry's and lumps of vanilla ice cream were still in them. She still never brought silverware. I ate my stale crepes with a spoon and gave my uncle the fork and knife from someone's leftover roll up. She seemed upset the whole time. Everything was a disaster. we were the...

My family and I visited IHOP after the Fourth of July event—it’s our go-to spot after a night out. We come here often, and it’s usually a great experience. The food is always good, the service is friendly, and we’ve even built relationships with some of the morning servers who go above and beyond.

However, this particular visit was disappointing. When we arrived, the restaurant was quiet—only four tables were seated, including ours. Our server, Jasmin, sat us and immediately told us, “I’m alone tonight, I’m very tired, so I might take long to get things done.” We reassured her that we weren’t in a rush and asked for water for the table as we placed our food order.

Despite the light crowd, it took around 45 minutes for just two of the five plates to arrive. The water we requested never came, and throughout the night, Jasmin seemed overwhelmed and moved at a noticeably slow pace. When we asked for anything, it took a long time to receive it—if at all—and she addressed us in a passive-aggressive tone, almost as if we were an inconvenience. She repeatedly reminded us she was working alone, but with only three tables to serve, it felt more like a lack of preparation or training than being short-staffed.

As someone with over three years of experience in food service, I understand how tough it can be—but I also know how important it is to make guests feel welcome, not guilty or ignored. To top it off, when Jasmin handed me the QR code for the review, she asked me to “only write nice things,” and that I could mention she was alone—but to keep it positive. That didn’t sit right with me.

Again, the food was great—hot, fresh, and just what we expected. But IHOP should really consider offering better support or training for their night shift staff. One server can absolutely handle a small restaurant if they’re properly equipped, trained, and committed to delivering the level of service...

One of my pet peeves is when a waitress doesn't write down patrons orders. You can think your memory is flawless but believe me when I say we can all make mistakes, even patrons. If you record everything you have something to fall back on if contested. This waitress didn't make the effort to write anything down so of course the order was wrong, the food was not as ordered neither as good as it could be and when asking the waitress for additional items she would forget them or bring them one at a time and have to make numerous trips which is fine if the place were busy but it was a Friday morning it was practically dead. My wife ordered crepes and she brought her regular pancakes PLUS when she did bring the crepes she hung it over my plate without saying a word! Zero personality and no manners whatsoever. Not once did she ask how our meal was or if we needed anything else. We had to keep calling her over to us. I drew the line when she took the maple syrup off another un-bused table and the ketchup without cleaning them first. I instantly thought omg what else does she cut corners on? Come on guys we are in a covid world. Put on those thinking caps otherwise why try or even wear masks in the first place? It's sad, IHOP is a great place to eat but unfortunately the employees set the tone here and so far it fell flat. I hope to give this place a second chance in the future as the food is always good and I work nearby but I will avoid this particular waitress like the plague....
