I Heart Fries — Restaurant in Hialeah

Waiter harassed our group (about three times) because we did not want the bacon cheese fries? Very bizarre interaction!!

Due to the texture being really gummy and off- (color was literally greyish) we decided to politely let our initial waitress know that we didn’t enjoy it, and would instead stick with the other appetizer we ordered.

Our waitress ignored us for the rest of the night, and instead her coworker came (not sure if he was a manager or another waiter) to ask us about the fries. We understood, and informed him that we were just unhappy with the taste, to which he proceeded to stand over our table for a few minutes and lecture us about ordering something we weren’t sure we’d like.

I literally told him, I normally love cheese fries lol, If I knew I wasn’t going to like the product, why would I order it?

he looked awkward at the question and told me that the fries were a top seller so he doesn’t know what our problem was. It was such a confusing interaction, and he came up to us so many times regarding the fries….very awkward.

It was my first visit so limited knowledge of menu. I wish I had been aware of the side options. Also, this more of a fast food set-up which has pros and cons. Pros: -fast, friendly service -reasonably priced, decent portions -quality ingredients overall -bottled beer, water, sodas available -sides are customizable (wish I had known) -nice menu variety -self serve “sauce” bar, can DIY your condiments Cons: -this place is filthy but tried not to judge by appearance -called I Heart Fries, but the fries are just like many other fast food place, wasn’t impressed by them -not full service (if that’s what you’re looking for) -no brewed ice tea -cilantro sauce was my favorite but was empty

Ordered Argentino. Overall, the food was decent. I liked the steak best. Probably would opt for chicken next time in lieu of sausage. Restaurant Review: I Heart Fries

Food was the most Horrible quality,

Firstly, the main course was incredibly disappointing. The fries, which should have been the highlight, were stale and overly salty, making them nearly inedible. The seasoning seemed to be an afterthought, lacking any balance or flavor.

To make matters worse, the Lomo Saltado meat was hard as a rock. It was tough, overcooked, and extremely difficult to chew, ruining what should have been a flavorful and tender dish.

The dessert, arroz con leche, was another letdown. Instead of the creamy, comforting dish I was looking forward to, it was served frozen and was impossible to eat. It felt like it had been sitting in a freezer for far too long and had lost all its intended texture and taste.

Overall, my experience at I Heart Fries was far from pleasant. With stale fries, rock-hard Lomo Saltado, and an inedible dessert, I cannot recommend this restaurant. I hope they make significant improvements to their food quality...
