Tomaso's Pizza — Restaurant in Hiawatha

I am a big fan of good pizza, but not this place, the hype around this place is humorous. Moved here from Texas everyone told me i had to check this pizza out. I went there and was treated horrible by the staff and even the owner. They chose to talk to each other besides helping a guest. It is gross to see someone on there phone(Alot of people use there phone in the bathroom) and then put there hands on my food. The tables were all dirty and no one seemed to care about the cleanliness of the place they work.

I got the detroit crust due to its popularity and was under cooked and spoiled by the thought of the dirty hands that touched it. The sight of flies around the beer tap were also gross. I would rather go to a more commercial place that treats the customer much better. Also this food makes a great cleanser I was in so much pain like i had food sickness and wasnt feeling good for two days. I think someone didnt wash there hands after the bathroom The owner was very rude to the guest and his employees. It would help to be nice and not think you are top dog. This is the last place I would take my family too the atmosphere...

I heard how great Tomaso's Pizza is so I was looking forward to trying it when our family gathered together while we were visiting the area. The staff was great at answering all my questions. I decided to skip a salad and just get pizza. They make an extra thin New York style pizza which was perfect. My pizza could have been cooked longer but everyone elses was nice and brown. Everyone else's pizza was loaded with toppings except for my husband's Italian sausage pizza and my chicken, broccoli, and onion pizza. The chicken is smoked which I've never had before. It definitely has a different flavor. I have no idea how much we paid for my pizza but it could have used double the ingredients. The cheese bread is really good!!! Other than that it's a great place to meet on a weeknight. Not sure how busy or noisy it is...

We have always loved the pizza made at original Center Pt Rd location but when they moved, we thought we would order from the Hiawatha location. It was terrible! I arrived to pick it up and it was sitting in the rack to be baked. I wasn’t in a hurry and asked that it be baked extra crisp. The cook staff were two gentleman with scraggly beards and girls had long hair. Not covered! The tables and counter was dirty and there was only one couple eating in. No orders were picked up or baked while I was there so not busy! Also, one girl was warming up her McDonald’s breakfast muffin in oven, answering phone and touching all the food space without washing her hands! Pizza had very little sauce, the “sausage” looked like dog food and tasted like it too! $40 later will...
