Went out with my son and husband my food was entirely too spicy to eat & the only good bao bun was the pork … the beef was too greasy the chicken wasnt even chicken it was basically fried chicken skin , my sons miso tasted like egg water and his chicken was hard & i was still nice about things. sometimes restaurants have off days . upon arriving at counter to pay for food i asked for the two soups to be taken off since nothing was eaten out of them but was told they simply couldn’t take off already made food and id be having to pay for a meal that me nor my son ate was told he couldn’t afford to do so, i work in a restaurant where we will GLADLY take anything off if it isnt made right / too spicy or simply the flavor isnt what it should be to keep customers satisfied . Was then told hed be calling my job & asking how we can afford that. Im not a KAREN and hardly complain not to mention service was horrible the girl serving us didnt know a thing and brought a table who walked in 30 minutes after us their ramen before ours , she never came and checked on us or asked how anything was . We recieved a discount but it was the principal of being a business owner . You want customers to want to come back, it wasnt like i was offered to fix the mistakes that were made it was simply incompetency of wait staff so of course i requested my food be removed my husband ate his , out of respect but said the spice level was beyond any ramen shop weve been to and we frequent often at ramen restaurants .. it wasnt a good experience the manager made no sense in reasoning on why he wouldnt void his or his cook’s mistakes especially since noone checked on us to ask if we were good or liked everything until the end of the meal. I will not be coming back and i will be warning many people of the flavors and management of this restaurant considering im in a business of food myself . Ive never in my entire life heard a reason like his before.. it was the worst experience my husband son and i ever experienced. This was disgusting food with...
Read moreI have now been twice and tried a rice bowl and the ramen. I walked in the first time to see that Steve from 92 Chicken (pre-2024) was running the place. I finally found where he went! This time I had the rice bowl, then I brought my family and a relative to eat there last night. Both times I had great service, great food, and the atmosphere was wonderful for us to sit and talk. Seating is not ideal for large parties, but can accommodate more seating in the back if needed. The food came out pretty quickly and I order the Gyoza every time along with the Japanese slaw. Those two are staples! The fried shrimp starter (Ebi Tempura) is incredible too! The rice bowl with the steak (Gyudon) is fantastic, but make sure to add the egg in the bowl, not the side. The ramen (I had the Shoyu, family all had the milder Shio) is great, not spicy at all. But that can be fixed with an order of their Bombin’ chili! The soft boiled egg is perfection! They were out of the Tonkatsu ramen, but that just means I have to go back soon! No problem! Drink service is still cans for soda, but they offer refills, so it’s still very easy to get all you need. Thanks to Steve for getting back to...
Read moreEDIT: Food is still really good, but service wasn't great this last time. Hour long wait for food, server didn't say which dishes were which when serving, and I wasn't told about any ingredients being out of stock when I ordered one of the ramens from the menu. I wouldn't have ordered the shio if I was informed that half of the ingredients were out, and I hate that it had to argue with the server about it. They were kind enough to substitute, but it was very stressful. The food was incredible and the staff were very pleasant! The owner personally spoke with us on our way out and was super cool.
I think the food is priced fairly considering that they use authentic ingredients. The menu is small, but that lets you know that what few dishes they have are made to perfection.
My fiance ran into a slight bit of trouble trying to avoid pork, but I think they have just enough options to avoid it; plus, they're good about letting you...
