Dunkin' — Restaurant in Hickory

Giving it a 3 star rating because typically I have excellent service at this location. The past few times I've been the people at the window have been less than friendly. There's a few people there that are great, so I'm not speaking on all of them. But there's two ladies in particular that have been difficult. Also, they have not been getting their drive thru line handled in a speedy manner. Some people have jobs at stricter companies and have to get there on time. That is my case. I had to drive off this morning after paying, without my food, (I did get my drink), because they were taking so long. I even had told the girl I am in a hurry, and she seemed flustered, and slammed the window shut. I seen someone hand her my bag of food, but she was too busy making hand/arm gestures, & complaining about her job, I assume/suppose? .. a $2 breakfast is luckily no big deal to me, but when you're going through any drive thru you shouldn't be sitting there for almost 20 minutes. This is the sole reason I started going out of my way to this Dunkin location because the one on 321 had gotten so awful with time, and service. I hate that this one is beginning to be...

I would like to mention something. About this location, these employees have been struggling to keep great employee's. W / that being mentioned! I would like to give Hugest Shoat Out to one individual KENSLEY!!! Kensley Is amazing employees 👏 !!!

KENSLEY IS Always smiling and greeting customers as we walk-in (mind you they're extremely short staffed) Kensley is one of your hardest worker's at this location and I truly believe that this young lady needs to be recognized in a fantastic way, Big Promotion, raise $$, Kensley is excellent hard worker pulling 12 days shifts because of employees just not wanting to work these days!!

Attempted to visit this Dunkin location for the first time this morning. There were 2 cars in front of us in the drive thru, and we literally sat there for 10 minutes. The car behind me got fed up a little sooner than I did and backed up and left, and I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a little more time, so I sat and waited an additional 5 minutes. At this point they finally got one car through (Wow!!), so there was one car in front of me left waiting to have their order taken. But they still just couldn't handle it. Finally, I threw the car in reverse and went elsewhere. I can't imagine how they operate when they are actually busy. They weren't busy on the inside either, as I checked on my way out. Two whole people waiting in there too. Get it together guys! Definitely won't be coming to this location again. Sad thing is it's the closest one to me. I'll just stick to where I know I'll be given prompt service at any...
