Wendy's — Restaurant in Hickory

Me and my husbend stop by this Wendys on Sandy Ridge Rd. Hickory,NC tonghit on 12/24/2018 to grab something to eat well first they got my order wrong ordered a number one Dave single just the sandwich no pickle no onions no mayo add bacon they got the no pickle no onions right looked at my sandwich they had mayo on it and no bacon so I took it back in there and the manger her name was Jenny don't know the cashier name they was real nice about it the manger looked at my sandwich and redid it for me cool I was ok with that so I got the same sandwich the single Dave no pickles no onions no mayo add bacon and i opend my sandwich up and looked at it make sure it was right and it was so I started to eat it and I seen a little pink not much so I showed it to my husbend and he said maybe it's just pink there and i said yeah maybe so I countied to eat my sandwich and all of a sudden the whole middle of the inside was pink so I showed it once again to my hubby and took it back in side and showed cashier and she took it to the manger idk what happen after she showed it to the manger so the cashier came back and asked me nicely if I wanted my money back or another sandwich I said can i please and tyhave my money back so she went and got the manger and Jenny came up there and asked me if I wanted another sandwich any kind and i said yes please so I got the same sandwich same way and Jenny told me that she is going to make my sandwich her self to make sure it get done so Jenny refund my money back and made me another sandwich I am srry if u going to be a cook in a restaurant u have to make sure your meat is done and your sandwiches look nice and not sloppy Iam srry i worked in to many restaurants to know and my supervisor always told me dont bring nothing to the front line thats sloppy that u wouldn't sell your mom or dad I understand it is Christmas Eve and i was ready to go but that sandwich was unaccompanied and not up to par if they came to watch the movies that they spouse to and get trained like they spouse to I bet that would never happend I don't care how much exprnice u have that should had never happend if he looked at the videos like u spouse to way before u even been on backline been trained a little better and checking all meats makeing sure before even assembling the sandwhichs and sending it out what if I was a health inspecter or one of they big boss man and came in under cover and got that same sandwich I did and got it all wrong and meat half done trust and belive some body getting fired on the spot and shut down especially...

So, this is the first time this happens to me, i went yesterday to get breakfast with my family, i ordered 3 meals, after waiting a little bit she took my order on the drive thru, when i went ahead to pay, i asked for the receipt i guess she didn’t hear me cause i never got my receipt, they make me wait a couple of mins wish is fine, after she came to the car to bring me the food, my wife opens the bag there was only two orders of fries and i ordered 3 meals so each meal is supposed to have fries, i went around again to the drive thru cause they have the dinning closed, so i told the lady, hey i just ordered some food and im missing fries, with a bad attitude she told me check your bag because i put the fries in your bag, i told her again hey i checked the bag already and im missing the fries, again she answer with bad tone, theres is nothing i can do. I put all the fries so thats is not my problem. I tried to explain to her i haven’t even leave the parking lot yet and it has been only 1 minute since you gave me the order, she told me again Sir now with a mad voice and disrespectful, she said sir bye have a good day. In top of all that, My wife ordered a Croissant with egg and bacon and they gave me a biscuit with have of a sausage inside and that was it. I wish somebody from the restaurant read this cause they stole my money. I understand that they might be short staffed or whatever I didn’t mind to wait l, but treating me like that and in too of that giving the wrong order and not letting me explain what was wrong. this is...

For several years running, this location has always been known for its slow service when compared to other locations. Almost every time I've placed a drive-thru order from here, or picked up a Doordash order from here (I used to be a Dasher), I've been told to park. Not only has this resulted in a waste of my time, it has also negatively affected my earnings and my status as a delivery driver.

Generally speaking:

If you live Northeast of this location, I recommend going to Burger King instead. Their prices are more reasonable. If you live Northwest of this location, I recommend going to the Wendy's on North Center Street. Their service is faster. If you live South of this location, I recommend going to the Wendy's on Highway 70 across from Valley Hills Mall. If you are a delivery driver (Doordash, Grubhub, etc.), I recommend not accepting orders from this location when possible.

Though the exact cause of this location's slowness is unknown to me, I hope the management will see fit to fix it soon. If the grill's having trouble heating up, fix or replace it.
