Fantastic urban winery/meadery/cidery. Spacious comfortable inside with bar seating, tables and couches. Front and rear patios with more seating. The brewer is a master of his craft, and the product is consistently delicious and interesting. In addition to wine, mead, and cider crafted on site, they have guest wines, beers, ciders, non-alcoholic beers and teas, and snacks available. Food trucks on the weekends. Live music on occasion. I came across town from Greensboro because I heard that they had mead. It was much to my chagrin to find out that they did not have an assortment of bottled mead for sale. So, I settled to purchase a bottle (or two) of their blackberry mead while staying to enjoy a glass of their weaver mead. The weaver mead blew me away. Nomad has a great atmosphere with plenty of room to accommodate groups of any size as well as a few different outdoor spaces. They make excellent wine, cider and mead! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable! If you cant make up your mind on what to drink, the staff are great at helping you pick something that suits your palate. Nomad is walking distance to several local bars, shops, restaurants and the baseball / soccer stadium. Great location, great people, great wine and great atmosphere. There’s nothing else like it...
