. I so hate to post a negative review but it was honestly the worst experience I've ever had at any outback. We went for lunch around 2pm. There was only 4 tables in our entire side of the restaurant. It took about 12 minutes before anyone even came to the table so we had plenty of time to look at the menu and we ordered our drinks and appetizers first then our meal a few minutes later to give time for our appetizer to arrive. We waited quite a while but she did bring us bread. We did have to hunt down a server for plates though. Our food came out after what seemed like forever and I asked when they thought our appetizer might be ready. (At this point there were maybe 2 tables) she admitted she forgot. We weren't upset but she said she would have it comped for us anyway but I told her it wasn't necessary. We were just glad to have food. We ended up having to hunt down a server again for utensils.
Now we come to the food. The steak was great, but that was the only good thing I can say about the entire meal. The potatoes were either old or terribly overdone because they fell apart almost like a powder. The rice was so dry we couldn't eat it. The chicken was ok but a bit tough and rubbery. The pinion was dripping with oil but that's to be expected. We go to th outback in Salisbury and other locations and have never had an issue. In fact we love outback and honestly this is the first had experience we have ever had. But boy was it a whopper of a bad experience. We still tipped our server well because the food wasn't her fault and I'm assuming she was new, but we will not be returning to...
Read moreI had the 3 course 17.99.1st waiter was lil smart assy.it should have been 4.99. asked for more butter to go with the bread brought out. No butter was brought out even when I asked a 2nd time. Waiter Jason was not with it at all.The steak was not 6 oz cooked med rare. The knife would not cut it. Got my pocket knife out cut 3- 1/4 slices. It was barely warm to touch. My cowboy boots softer than the steak. Jason said what's wrong? I put the outback knife across the steak and it did not cut 1/8 of an inch into the steak . He said we got to do something about that?. The manager came out and said is your steak tough? I said yes and the potato was hard. It wasn't even done. Waited approximately 12 minutes out. Came a steak 1 in wide 3 in Long about 2 oz. Of meat. The potato was cooked however that steak was as tough as the second one. I just cut it and ate it because I was tired of waiting and I was hungry. When asked how my experience was we basically said we would not come back. The only good thing was the margaritas that we had and my wife's French onion soup. Otherwise, do not order a steak there. Get a 6 oz steak and they bring out a slice of meat. That's the width of a piece of bacon and 4 in Long. That is not 6 oz. The bill was $56 and actually the meal was worth about 10$ bucks . If you want to state go to longhorn or another steak restaurant out back does not cut it. My pocket knife can shave hairs and it's the only thing that would cut the steak and I came home and sharpened my knife because of the fact that it probably dulled it. We both got home ahead upset stomach after the meal so that tells...
Read moreWe arrived at 5pm. We ordered drinks and appetizer. We had a blooming onion. Salad came afterwards. So far so good. Steaks came and it began to go down hill. I ordered my ribeye medium well. My best friend ordered his medium rare. Steaks arrive and my steak is medium rarish and his steak was virtually well done. The broccoli sides for all of the group was under cooked. It was not tender at all. We informed our waitress and she put in for more broccoli and cook the ribeye over for my best friend. 7pm now. I had eaten about 1/2 of mine so I didn't try to send mine back. Finally the redo ribeye and broccoli came out. Sad to say......no good. Over cooked again and the broccoli was still not cooked enough. I asked for a manager. The manager came out after about 25 minutes. I explained our disappointments and expectations. She personally offered to go back and cook a medium rare ribeye for my best friend. It's his birthday by the way. It is getting close to 740ish now. No communication from our waitress or the wait staff. My wife then goes up and asked to speak to the manager. She explained again our disappointment and expectations. The manager decided not to charge us for the way off the mark visit. She did send a new steak, baked potato and brownie home with my best friend. She also explained she had only been at this location for a few weeks. No hard feelings but we don't have a desire for Outback steakhouse for the...
