Pizza Vino 2 — Restaurant in High Point

If I could give less stars, then I would I am completely and utterly disappointed with my experience. I’ve eaten here several times before and I always give great tips to the drivers this time on December 6, 2022. I found what seem to be a piece of plastic or a covering of a bottle of some sort I’m unsure of what the object was in my sandwich, my Philly cheesesteak, I trusted this company and they truly did not take any accountability I was told from the manager he did not know what the object was either and to bring my sandwich back . He did not offer me a refund, just simply to remake the sandwich, which is idiotic to eat from a place where you just found a foreign object in your food the following day why on earth would I want a sandwich from this establishment again ? from the manager who stated he was also the owner as I am explaining my concern to the manager not once did he apologize for my experience, which I had to call on my lunch break, and his concern was when I could bring the sandwich bag because it is his afternoon off not my Health not I could’ve been injured not any of those concerns, but that it is his afternoon off, following a snicker as of this incident was lighthearted or funny 10 minutes into our call he finally apologized it nonchalantly as if he was saying it just to get me off of the phone This place truly needs to be shut down the employees are negligent of the food they are preparing . We need a business that is 100% accurate with the orders and not just who they feel deserves a meal without objects in it the way I was treated disrespected and disregarded by the manager, this place has no place in our community, I have followed up with the health department. This is not something that is going to be brushed under the rug places like this have no place with serving anyone in the community whether you are black, white, yellow, green or blue everyone deserves a fair chance to not consume, objects, hair,etc of any sort that we have decided to spend our money with this company who doesn’t even offer a refund or any type of sincerity or apology . Staff is very unfriendly and unattentive ... Notice it's vinos cafe..at one point in time this was owned and operated by Italians or Greeks it was awesome and very clean ect. Well things changes Pakistani now own this company and I can tell you the only thing that is the same is the name period, they serve a cheap quality of food small portions and the place smells like old grease they obviously aren't changing their deep frier grease!! I wouldn't recommend this place but to each their own it's just deceiving when you think your order from a mom and pop italian place and it's not it's a Pakistani family that deserve pork ect check it out for your self not my cup of tea and it's nothing racial for me it's all about sanitary issues... I know you shouldn't always ask for something special and I try not to. But I called from work which is just slight distance up the street, for an urgent, to-go Pizza to a competitor. They said it would be 45 minutes to an hour. It was for a customer waiting at my desk and it was literally the difference in making a car sale or not. So I asked to speak to the restaurant manager, as he had requested, to see if he could do something special under the circumstances.. "Nope can't help you, it'll still be 45 minutes or more." Not wanting to displease or lose my own customer. I called Pizza Vino. Explained the same situation, the same way. They also had a 45 minute wait. So I asked to speak to the manager there . But this manager when he understood the urgency, went out of his way to cook me a pizza fresh and get it to me in 15 to 20 minutes and delivered it personally. My customer was delighted!
