The Home Depot — Local services in High Point

Ordered a few thousand dollars of appliances from them. I had a new fridge that was delivered with some small dents. They refunded me some money back for that, which was great and we decided to just keep it. The oven that was delivered was basically ran over by a forklift. Had to wait a week for the replacement. The replacement still had small dents so we opted to get money back on it and keep it. No big deal. I had to go into the store for both refunds. The unprofessionalism at the customer service desk took my rating to a 3. I get up to the desk, tell the blonde little girl who had a complex for no reason, that I was there to get a refund. She asks if we have said oven with us, I said no and explained everything. Not to mention it says it can't be returned so I don't know why she would ask people if they had the appliances with them to return. She then can't apparently do nothing on her own, so she got the other girl who is african/albino and she also acted as if she couldn't do anything. Said they needed to get a manager. The manager came and the amount that came up was $10 less. He said we can get anything in the store for $20 and come back to customer service for them to let us take items for difference. At that point we just left the store and said forget it. It looked like the blonde girl was up as employee of the month for March on the wall behind them but she had a terrible attitude and needs to be put in check and get over her little self. If that's the best they can find for customer service and put them up as a "great" employee, then that is very sad and pitiful. I spent thousands of dollars there and was given an attitude the whole time at customer service. I would order appliances here again over lowes, but their customer service is very lacking. I always enjoy going to the old Depot. The whole atmosphere is more laid back than their competitor. I won't call any names. Let's just say they've been Low a time or two. I went looking for some m3 screws for my Traxxas truck I have been tinkering with and took Sadie the lady my Texas Heeler . She loves to ride and I just can't stand those sad eyes if I try to leave her. " Alright Sadie let's go. In the truck. " I wish I could find a woman that listens that well. Anyway so we go in search of a screw the size of a pencil lead and very fine thread. Sadie of course wants to go in and starts pawing my arm and making that whining noise. Not without a leash I tell her. ACouple min later and some laws laid down she's out of the truck and her nose hit the ground before anything else. So much to sniff ya know. I'm always apprehensive about our excursions . Not about Sadie. She is a perfect lady and loves everybody. Except cats, deer, squirrels , mice , frogs, and occasionally bugs. Unless you are one of those you're good. We go in and I'm listening for the " Sir we don't allow dogs" spill . To which I would reply " good thing I didn't bring one " and keep walking. I'm an asshole. I might have forgotten to mention that. But there was no condemning tones. Only an "Awww ain't she cute. " So onward towards Hardware and my m3 screws . This is an Emaxx. It is 4x4 and has 2 motors. It's old and like me needed some TLC. As I was scanning the aisle a very attractive lady came up and wanted to pet Sadie and asked her name. I am in shock, I visited home depot today, only to watch a tall black lady employee in the back by the flooring and blinds area, on herncard it said shante I believe with army badge and a brown looking badge andher number of years. This employee turned to the "flower lady" at least this what ive always called her. This employee had to beg the other employees even a manager standing near her, short lady long hair, she had to persuade this lady her manager to walk with her, shante looked like she was a experienced distrct manager in her demeanor, to see her facial expressions of hurt while literally begging the other employees besides a guy who said he works in appliance, those two excitedly walked a lady named Janet to the door, They gladly jumped into action when she walkedup.. She said she was going home after 20 something years of service for this store! I turned around peeked out aisle Only to see and hear the black lady who had every bit of military structure, b/c she held her tears and anger of disgust, and stood up with action..wow!!! Sadly, she keptsaying 'come on everybody lets see her to her car"... She grabbed her hand and walked Janet out after all those years Janet gave this company she said!!!!! No claps, no laughter, just lost minded dead atmosphere store, with non chalant employees!!!!!!!!! Walking past her while she begged them..
