Westchester Square — Local services in High Point

I like going to get Steaks from Publix on the Holidays because they really drop the prices of a lot of groceries that the Holiday calls for... I was looking for a Good size Ribeye. My choices were between 2 prepackaged. Didn't like either one so I asked if they had any more in the back. I was then asked how many I said 1. Was then asked Bone in or Boneless?I said Bone In. Was then asked if there were any out in the case? I said yes. But I don't like either that's why I'm asking!! Then was told again that what's out in the case were 1" and there were also Boneless ones.... My anger then began. This is PUBLIX? The same company that I worked for in Florida growing up. Same company I've worked for in my past Adult Years and they are treating me this way??? The Associate which came into view came with me to look at the ones on the case. Once again I stated I really didn't want either one. He then said "I'll go cut you one if you want..... REALLY???? I picked one up and tossed it in my buggy and I walked away. Found a Manager and explained all of this to him. Stating that this is not the Publix way to treat their Customers. I'm very disappointed. Also was in the store walking and shopping passing many associates and finally I was greated after 20 minutes walking from one department to another by a Manager in the Deli. Which I told him he was the first one to great me. Of course he apologized about not being greated until now. VERY...

I go to strip mall to grocery shop at Publix (SO VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL EMPLOYEES!), get my prescriptions at Publix Pharmacy Drive-Through and, several times, I'll get my lunch or dinner at Wendy's, which is very conveniently located and situated in front of Publix, with plenty of connecting streets or median openings to get both to their drive-through, as well as walk-in. Every time I've been here, which is a LOT over 15 years, the employees do not forget condiments or forget tp give you a straw. I have had rude service on occasion, but, again, over many years, those occasions have been rare. Also, they must do a double-check on orders, because my orders have NEVER been wrong. We love Publix! They are always well stocked, extremely clean and their staff is wonderful! We are originally from South Jersey where they have the best subs. We have searched for years for a comparable sub and Publix is the closest we have found! You can order in store or online. Online orders will be waiting for you when you arrive. The chicken tender sub is a favorite and they always run a weekly special for a whole sub at a great price.
