I just had a strange experience at this McDonald’s located at 2435 NE Town Center Drive, Hillsboro, OR.
I went to the restaurant, placed a mobile order on the app at 3:00am on Monday, June 3, and immediately went to the drive-thru kiosk to give them the order code. (Luckily there was no line.) I had to say and repeat the order code three times, and they finally acknowledged it with my first name, so I knew they had my order.
There were about 4–5 cars after the intercom to the pickup window. When I finally get to the pickup window around 3:26am, the girl at the window says a different order than mine, so I say no, and try to tell her what my order is (customized Spicy McChicken, Medium Fries, and a Medium Sprite). They act confused and say they don't have my order.
I look on the app and show them the order history, showing I ordered it. The girl grabs my phone, and it looks like she's she's pressing things on it. She shows it to her coworkers, a male and a female, and they mumble something about "re-order," and tell me I need to re-order the meal. The girl hands me back my phone.
I tell them I don't want to pay twice for the same meal, and then look in my photo history to see if I have a screenshot of the recent order confirmation. Luckily I did, and I show them screenshots of the order confirmation and the order code, placed within the past half hour while I was waiting in the drive-thru line.
She then looks down, picks up a bag with my order, along with the Sprite, and hands them to me.
I ask, “If it was sitting there the whole time, why couldn't you see it?” She mumbles, “I don't know, it wasn’t showing in the system.”
I go to the parking lot to eat it, and the sandwich and fries are stone cold.
It also felt shady that they grabbed my phone, were looking on it and pressing things on it while the order was sitting right next to her the whole while.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PHONE. I don't think I had anything they could steal off of it, as I don't keep banking apps or sensitive info active on my phone, but still, it was a very strange and unsettling experience, and the food was cold and awful.
I will never eat at this McDonald’s again, as I don’t trust them to serve hot, fresh food, plus the concern about potential scams looking on people’s phones while the order is sitting right there...
Read moreI went to this location like an hour ago the exact time that is on my receipt is 3:15pm Sunday 09/01/2024 I order TWO pies one apple and the other pumpkin along with a burger fries and a frappe. I asked the person at the intercom for my pies to be fresh since the last time I came both of my pies were very old like 8 hours old when I went there that time it was 10pm and the pies said like 2pm I explained this and there was no sorry or nothing about that experience. But anyways back to today they told me it would take 12 minutes for the pies to be cooked I said that was fine and I was really expecting them to take about 15 minutes. When I made it to the window they said they were already dropped which it was then 3:18pm I pulled to the next window to wait on my pies as I had already received the rest of my order but the two pies which was Apple and Pumpkin. I waited until 3:45pm and that when I had enough of waiting as it’s been 28 minutes since was told they were in the oven and 30 minutes since the order was placed. I go in to tell them I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes and was told 12 and the lady with short brown hair whom looked to be caucasian and was maybe 5’3 looked kinda young but maybe in her 30s told me there was 40 seconds left I said how because it’s been 28 minutes since they have been dropped and then she said well I don’t know how you’ve been waiting 30 minutes if the oven has 40 seconds left and then walked away she then took another 4 minutes to get the pies together, which I knew I should have checked but didn’t until I made it home they were both pumpkin pies and I tried one which it looked burnt and most definitely tasted burnt. Will never...

I am absolutely livid with the McDonald's drive-thru at 2435 NE Town Center Dr, and after this experience, I will NEVER return. My family and I specifically went to get the Pokémon Happy Meal toys that were supposed to come with the meal. We were looking forward to it, but what we got instead was a complete nightmare.
We ordered through the drive-thru and were charged for the Pokémon Happy Meal, with the register even showing the Pokémon option. When we got to the window, the manager handed us our meals—and instead of the Pokémon toys, we got Sonic toys. When we asked about the Pokémon toys, she claimed they were out of stock, but we could see other cars getting the exact toys we ordered!
To make matters worse, the manager lied to us repeatedly and said there were no Pokémon toys left. She then casually admitted she was keeping all the Pokémon cards for herself! This is beyond frustrating—she stole the toys we paid for and blatantly lied to our faces.
I’m beyond disappointed in how this was handled. It's one thing to make a mistake, but this was deliberate dishonesty, theft, and an overall disgusting display of customer service. We were scammed, and I’ll never trust this McDonald's location again. I strongly advise others to avoid this drive-thru. This behavior is completely...
