Bobo Tea House — Restaurant in Hillsboro

Loved my visit to this shop today! I inquired about dairy-free options and they have coconut milk as a replacement to make their drinks dairy-free! Such a plus for me considering other boba places I've gone only have a fruit slush option.

I got the mango slush (without the salted cheese) and added lychee star jellies. It was the perfect amount of sweet and doesn't taste syrupy. I watched them make it and they put actual mangos in as well as mango syrup! Yum!

So excited to come back and try their other menu options! Such a great location too!

They also have cute wall stickers that they seem to change out (since they looked different than a previous reviewer's photos from a week ago); perfect for taking photos of your drink!

Covid-19 info: masks are required, hand sanitizer is available, they have clean/dirty pen jar, and there are a ton of floor stickers to mark where to stand to maintain...

I tried this place out for the first time today on Aug 14 around 4pm and it was very disappointing. I walked in and was not greeted at all by the staff except by them just staring at me. They just stared and were quiet until i ordered. A boy made my drink and when my drink was ready, he just left the drink on the counter and said something along the lines of “it’s right here”. I said thank you and there were no replies back from staff. When leaving there were no thank you’s or have a nice day. It was such terrible customer service to the point where I felt uncomfortable being in there. I was treated as if my business was unwanted. On top of customer service, the drink was subpar and the boba wasn’t even sweetened so when biting into the boba i was just met with water. It’s safe to say that even with a heavy craving for boba, I would still never return due to the terrible...

Wow! I am beyond impressed with the boba tea house! Jonathan and his mom are simply just the kindest!!! We came in not knowing what was what and Jonathan helped us figure it out! So patient. My friend and I went, we ordered 7 drinks in all and they all were so delicious!! 😋 we got coffee & tea.. on our way out my friend accidentally dropped one of hers.. we felt so bad!!! We helped clean it up, but Jonathan insisted it was fine and he finished cleaning for us and had a brand new drink for her before we could even get into cleaning up! I'm definitely sold on just the drinks alone, but the customer service was outstanding 👌🏽 10/10. This is my new spot!!!! So many drinks to choose from and the people, simply the best!!! Thank you Jonathan ❤️ we will see you again...
