I recently moved to Hillsboro and have been searching for our new favorite pizza joint. I was looking at Moto and Pizzario, both had good ratings and we're close. I decided to try Pizzario based of the price of the pizza, thinking it would be better than a cheaper place. Unfortunately for Pizzario they were closed and wouldn't be opening until 3pm because of the heat wave we were experienceing. So off to Moto I went. I paid $9 ($11 with tip) for a large (they only have one size) Pepperoni, Olive and Mushroom. I was VERY surprised at how good this pizza was. I felt the pizza could have used more sauce but the toppings and cheese were plentiful and the crust was thick with a nice crisp on the bottom... AND! at 9 bucks a pie you can't go wrong. This will now be my go to pizza joint. But I will still be trying other places also. So.... if and when I do find that perfect pie I will still be a Moto patron based on the price and quality of their pizzas....
Read moreFor a small pizza place, its not bad when you want to get something for dinner, however a few things keep it from being good, or even great. The pizza tends to be too doughy with not much sauce to lesson the impact of the dough. They don't skimp on the toppings though, which is a good thing. Everything else there is also just okay. They don't sell pizza by the slice, which is a bad thing, because I can only handle one or two slices of this pizza and don't want anymore after that. They also don't have indoor seating which keeps it from being a lunch spot in the colder months. The staff is friendly and gets your order right a lot of the time, even when you want to play with...
Read moreUsed to be a super cheap $5 pizza place. Changed ownership a few years ago. The prices went up and so did their quality.
They make their own dough now and the sauce is better too. If you’re lucky they’ll have cumbias playing on the boom box when you pull up. The new owners are super nice as well. They also take pesos which came in handy after the trip to Mexico!
It’s not the BEST pizza I’ve ever had but the Cheesy Bread will BLOW YOUR FRICKEN MIND($10). It’s a major addiction and not for the lactose intolerant. Make sure to get pizza sauce on the side. It’s an extra $1 but a necessary grab.
The drive through is always my favorite part! Hot pizza $10-15 and I don’t have to even get out of the car? Genius.
Pro Tip: skip the wait and call to order it ahead. It takes 15...
