I will start with the fact that I love their food, but that does not always keep the customer coming back. Went in with my co-worker for lunch. My co- worker normally orders from the kids menu. Apparently because she is an adult they charged an extra $1. They did not notify us, just rang up the food and my co-worker said the total was wrong and that is when she told us. We told her that in the future they should not charge it till they tell the customer their will be an extra $1 charge for that and she just said it was on the menu. NO it was not on the menu. My co-worker asked to speak to the manager and she just smiled and said he was busy. So we ate and she asked again before we left and she said "oh he is eating breakfast" that is when my co-worker said she did not care and to go get him, which another person came out and she said "no I want to speak to a manager" who never came out. Worst customer service ever and that is what keeps the customers coming back. No friendliness, or customer service what so ever. Even though I love the food, I do not feel comfortable going back as charging someone an extra $1 for ordering from a kids menu all because they are not a child is wrong and when you are asked to speak to a manager, their are NO excuses YOU GET A MANAGER. I have worked customer service for 10+ years and I would of been fired for...
Read moreFirst time in and the food was AMAZING! My son is a very picky eater and he ate all 4 chicken tacos, and half a plate of beans and rice. I order the "Especial de la Casa" plate, I mean platter! If you are looking for a small portion, wrong item!
I was so excited about what all was on the plate in forgot to tell the "no lacto". When the food showed up covered in dairy, the smells were so intoxicating that I'm was willing to deal with the aftermath of eating the dairy. After finishing the plate, it is worth whatever discomfort the night has instore for me!
The staff and the other customers were very friendly. I asked several questions of random people on how things worked her and what was worth eating. I am very into eating things in a traditional and authentic manner and several people answered after a slight chuckle. If you can be polite, respectful, and humble, this place will be an amazing experience. Check your white privilege at the...

I have been a loyal customer since they were a lonely food truck in the 90's. And then i was there the day the restaurant opened in 2000.I was always greeted by the owners with a smile and the son who owns now always helped me order when my Spanish was so limited. I have never complained about anything in all those years. Now 2024-5 and I am saddened to say that the last few times i went there i was treated with a diff. attitude. the young girl helping me has repeatably treated me with little respect, even giving me a hard time when i asked for more sauce cup tops.. when the people behind me were not. I have asked to talk to the owner several times and have been blown off. Even asked for him the last time i visited and was told he was not there . only to see him talking on his phone walking to his truck, called and left msgs. and no return call.I guess loyalty means nothing any longer....
