Starbucks — Restaurant in Hillsboro

Is a long time, (Starbucks) consumer, and having worked for (Starbucks) back in the late 90s at nine different stores in the Portland area, I’ve been repeatedly disappointed by this Starbucks outlet. I lost the lid to my stainless steel 16oz travel cup and therefore had to get a new cup and ended up getting a 16oz ceramic Cup because it had a lid. In the ceramic cup’s inside completely broke apart within a week of easy use. I took it back to the store where I bought it, and even though I had pushed it with my Starbucks card, they initially claimed they wouldn’t be able to return it and apply the cost to a new travel cup with a different design because I didn’t have my receipt. I literally showed them the item as listed in my Starbucks app From the previous week. I started walking out and they stopped me and said they could do it after all.

We like this Starbucks and the empoyees all seem really friendly, but I have one complaint: turn up the heat in the winter months. It'll be 30 something outside and inside I can feel cool air blowing down from the vents. The manager needs to be more aware of the comfort of the guests. I've mentioned it to him before and he apologised and said it's hard to tell because they're warm behind the counter. But one glance out toward the tables and you can see everyone sitting in their coats and hats because it's freezing in there. As I write this even the baristas are literally all wearing long sleeve shirts (the manager included). If they're hot, dress lighter cuz we're cold, guys! Nothing cozy about that.

I mean what can I say about Starbucks that you don’t already know? Lol. It’s very spacious and clean, but the wait averages 10-15 minutes inside or at the drivethru, even at 10am. The drivethru is very short so traffic is always overflowing, there is limited parking, & there is very little access to power should you be working in their larger than normal seating area. Plus, they often make your food and coffee separate so on several occasions when ordering inside they have completely forgotten one or the other. Hopefully some of this is just growing pains but I feel like they made a larger than normal building for a very small area and didn’t...
