I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars as it has been a long time since we had a really good Chinese place to get take out. Unfortunately, my first trip was decent, but the sauce on the roast pork and broccoli was bland (not savory at all...more like blah) and the amount of pork was pathetic! If I didn't order this myself I would have thought someone ordered stir fry broccoli instead. Very disappointing!! My husband's sesame chicken was very good...but there was more breading than chicken.🤔. Will give it another try. I have to say their egg rolls were wonderful...good size and not just cabbage. Prices are also very reasonable here. Just got to get them to serve the dishes Szechuan style as advertised. As of today, everything is made more Cantonese, which to me is boring and too bland. Hoping to favorably update this review in the near future. Stay tuned...!
Ok...! Tried to leave a new update but was not allowed to do so. Latest trip to Chang's was just as disappointing. Sad. Again, all broccoli and about 4 pieces of pork. And, this time I asked about the sauce and told them to make it medium spicy...Mr. Chang did not know what kind of sauce I was referring to and then asked me if I wanted BBQ sauce!!!!? For roast pork?? Really? And, it was watery with no flavor at all. Also, the lo mein we ordered had carrots and mushrooms thrown into it. Yuck. The won ton soup was so salty...had to add chicken broth at home to make it edible! Well, jury is in and I am down grading my review to One Star. Those who like this place must have no taste buds. ...

Read moreI visited this place to order fried rice. Chicken, pork, and beef.
All three tasted IDENTICAL. There were NO other items in the fried rice other than the rice and the meat chosen (no egg, no vegetables). There was a yellowish color on the rice, FOOD COLOR The rice was HARD and obviously undercooked. The rice was hard (rice balls) after the "fried rice" portion became warm (not even cold).
No, my friends, this is NOT your typical fried rice by any stretch of the imagination. It's just rice, plus the meat ordered .
Store has Chinese FOB mentality that customer is always wrong and that they are always right.
I'm a bit weary of Chinese food these days, especially those sourced from China itself from Chinese owned businesses (to cut costs). They are almost always fake copies and of poor quality.
