Went here last night for dinner. Overall the staff is so friendly and customer service minded, the establishment was clean and fun, the food is good, and you can tell there is a lot of heart and soul in this place. I will review everything we ate according to my personal preference but if you don’t want to read the whole thing, all you need to know is you should definitely come check it out!! We ordered 5 garlic knot sliders, one loaded fries, stuffed garlic knots, pizza with a garlic knot crust, one of their signature sandwiches, and their own brand of sodas. Let’s start with the garlic, there is a lot of it, as there should be. It was the raw, pungent, slightly spicy garlic in oil appropriately put on everything as advertised. I like that. But it was a lot and I missed that subtle garlic infusion of some kind of cooked garlic that provides a softer balance as an accompaniment to the raw. It was delicious though as is and the flavor just stays with you in such a nice way. Sliders- we got Chicken Bacon Ranch, out of this world, Eggplant Parm, not my favorite but I’m picky about my eggplant parm, Shrimp Parm, coming back for this one it was phenomenal, Chicken Vodka, ok but I didn’t really taste the vodka sauce, and Phill Cheese, also very good. The eggplant I think may have been flour instead of breading (normal differences in preparation) and I prefer breading so I felt like this was just a personal miss on flavor. The garlic know slider bread was so nice and airy and soft. The chicken vodka just got overpowered by the garlic so it was not my favorite. Really enjoyed the tasting experience though. Stuffed garlic knots - we got Peperoni and they were really good. Dipped in marinara, just what you would expect, cheesy, garlicky, goodness. Loaded fries - These are really loaded up. We got pulled pork and the pork was super flavorful. My daughter felt like there could be more cheese but I honestly thought it was a good ratio. Fries were solid; standard, string fries. Overall very yummy dish. Pizza - we got a plain cheese pizza with a garlic knot crust. Very creative. Very cool. The pizza itself was a little too doughy for my taste, I like a thinner crust, but I am sure if I had asked for it as a preference they would have accommodated. The garlic know crust was good. Again, lots of garlic, just as you would anticipate. I enjoyed the crust. Signature sandwich - we got “the insider” which was Philly cheesesteak like but with their own sauce that really made a difference. Now here you can opt to have the garlic and oil on top or not. We opted in as this was what we came for. I would probably order it on the side next time. The sandwich was out of this world though. Super tender Steak, pepper and onions, that yummy sauce, oozy cheese, and the bread was very fresh, soft, airy. I would definitely order this again. Soda - they have their own brand of bottled soda there and the black cherry was so good we ordered two more to go. I wanted to try a milkshake but was much too full at the end of the meal so we will definitely have to go back for that. All in it was worth the hour drive from the Bronx to check it out and I will be recommending this place for others to come check it out!! Thank you HMK’s for a wonderful dinner experience.

Had seen this place mentioned on multiple food sites so decided I had to check it out. I visited on a Sunday afternoon. Place was empty. Had the whole dining room to ourselves. The staff is super friendly and the space is clean and modern looking. We ordered three garlic knot sliders, a chicken parm, an eggplant parm, and a meatball. As you can see from the photos they were all of varying sizes. I don’t think the garlic knots are individually baked, probably just a sheet pan of them and then cut into square shapes so that is most likely why 2 of the sliders didn’t look like a full garlic knot. The sliders themselves were just ok. The bread was too crispy from being reheated while the filling was just barely warm. The pizza in the display case was enticing so we got 2 pies to go. The pizza is hard to describe. The crust is slightly doughy and I would have liked more sauce, but they do put on a good amount of cheese. The pizza reheated nicely the next day and actually tasted better on day 2. I’m glad I got a chance to try this place, but don’t know if it is somewhere I would go out of my way for again.

I loved this place! I have been wanting to get here for some time and finally had a chance. I came for the garlic knot sliders, which were awesome, but the pulled pork fries made me fall in love. A heaping helping of pulled pork smothering a bowl of fries topped with a fried egg! Not only is the food really good, but it's also plated nicely. A step often overlooked by places like this, but goes a long way. You eat with your eyes too! Let's not forget the really polite staff being patient with me as I gawked at the menu. Now I have to go back and try one of the sandwiches and the stuffed garlic knots.

Update: It’s very hard to reach out to you when you left no where to do so. We visited a few months ago and I can assure you I wouldn’t lie on a review of a business. The man behind the counter who said he and the young lady at the table next to the counter were owners and the women was at the table with a group of people being very loud. The man behind the counter went between that conversation and one with the cook. I’m sorry if this isn’t your standard and that this was a once off night but it’s what happened and I stand by my review.

———————— This was the worst experience I think I’ve ever had. We got there and found a bunch of the owners friends just hanging out being super loud and disruptive. We told the owner it was our first time there while looking at the menu and he didn’t offer suggestions or help at all he was busy trying to stay in the conversation with his friends. We ended up ordering some sliders and large sandwiches for dinner. The owner didn’t mention that the sliders we ordered were the exact same thing as the large sandwich so it was literally all the same just different sizes. Also for it being a knots place I figured the knots would be better than any pizzeria, or be special like garlic or something, these were nothing. I’ve literally had better knots at the corner pizzeria. It was really disappointing and the prices were high for nothing special. There’s a reason there NYC front closed. It’s not good food just a place to hang with friends and eat. Maybe the food is good if your drunk? But it’s...

My wife and I drove an hour away to come to this place and it was well worth the drive. The food was amazing. We ordered the pulled pork fries which we've heard so much about and they didnt disappoint. Literally one of the best if not the best plate of fries we've had. Full of flavor and enjoyable to eat. We ordered a few sliders so we could have a variety of flavors. Chicken bacon ranch, buffalo chicken, eggplant and philly cheesesteak were all delicious. All of the food was very fresh and cooked to perfection. The place has a friendly neighborhood pizzeria vibe and the gentleman providing service to his customers whom I believe could be the owner was friendly and courteous and quick to help with anything. The ordering process was pain free and the girl at the register did a great job keeping everything flowing. We ordered a pie to take home with our leftovers out of curiosity due to alot of locals coming in for pick up and walking out with pies and it didnt disappoint either. Pizza was fresh. Perfect crust and delicious. The seating is a little tight in there and holds around 20 people and with people coming in and out theres a tendency for customers waiting for food to be hovering around your table depending on where your seated, but it didnt ruin our experience one bit. Wonderful place to eat highly reccomend it and worth the drive...
