Update Dec 30 2024: I have to share once again about this truly remarkable Thai restaurant. The flavors are extraordinary, and their menu consistently delivers an unforgettable dining experience. They must have a one-of-a-kind chef because, after visiting countless Thai restaurants, nothing compares to this place. I genuinely hope it stays here forever—there’s simply no better spot for unique and exceptional Thai cuisine.

Sep/2024 Update: Koon Restaurant has become our go-to spot, consistently serving exceptional food that never disappoints. The staff is not only warm and welcoming but also highly knowledgeable about their dishes. I recommend this place to everyone, even if you’re unsure about Thai cuisine—you’ll be pleasantly surprised by their diverse and delicious menu. Absolutely love love this place!

This is the best Thai place in the area!! The food is absolutely amazing. We have been there over 7 times already. Their liche ice tea is perfect. Best appetizers and food, different than other Thai places. Place is very clean. Staff super friendly and helpful. They are really the best!!!

Update: I keep coming back to this place with family and friends, and every dish continues to impress. The food is consistently amazing, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. A special shoutout to the chef – outstanding work every time!

Update: I took myself and two of my friends out for lunch here this week. I’ve noticed a significant change in the quality of food and portion sizes. The soup bowl was half the size. I got the holy beef. previously stated was my favorite. This time around the meal wasn’t hot. The beef had a significant amount of fat and overall much different. My friends said the exact same thing about their dish. We ordered three cans of soda to my surprise nine dollars for three cans seemed a bit steep considering their water taste like dirty tapwater so the alternative were cans. It costs $30 monthly to filter water for drinking. I’m disappointed because I really thought this was going to be a regular spot for me in town but if the inconsistencies continue I will discontinue referring people.

1st: Had the Holy beef lunch special. Sliced perfectly and one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Nice and spicy and the soup was incredible. Welcome to hillsdale update: i’ve been here for more times after this initial review and I can tell you. I’m very picky with restaurants. This place was absolutely incredible. The food was fast fresh and had the most flavor I have ever had the soup is delicious a little spicy, but perfect the butter shrimp is incredible, the fried rice has so much lump crab meat in it. It’s hard to believe and I can’t say enough good things...

First time here for dinner and let me tell you...it was AMAZING. SO SO GOOD. We started with the Hot & Sour Soup and it was by far and away the best Hot & Sour Soup EVERRRRRRR. We also had the Crispy Vermicelli and the Fish Tacos. Both dishes were literally to die for. So So delicious!! Seriously the Vermicelli dish is just incredible. We were eating it and just in awe of the combination of flavors and textures. Do not miss this dish.....so awesome. We completed our dinner with the Coconut Ice Cream dessert which was also just fantastic. Home made ice cream combined with home made coconut sticky rice and home made coconut waffle cup. One of the best desserts we have ever had. Our server Pearl could not have been nicer. What a sweet heart! We were able to chat with YP Ammata one of the partners and she described the vision for this lovely eatery, She told us they were looking to present a more modern Thai experience and we agreed that we loved this idea and her outstanding vision. We will MOST CERTAINLY be back again and we can not wait to try everything on the menu. Great spot, great people, beyond excellent food and beautiful vision for business. We practically walked out of the place...
