We were pleasantly surprised by this place! We were in the area and wife got a craving for some coffee - so we Google mapped "coffee shops" and the options were this, or 7-Eleven. Figured we'd give this place a try and boy oh boy, will we be back! I got an iced dirty chai (chai with espresso - didn't even know this existed!), and my wife got a hot dirty chai. We also got a mango acai bowl to share, and a Avocado Toast for our 9 year old daughter. Despite the arugula on top and our picky 9 year old, the Avo Toast was gone (arugula included!) before we reached our destination. I did get to taste it and it was absolutely delicious. The toast was on point, the eggs were perfectly runny, and the feta cheese on top was perfectly salty - but the cherry on top was the dressing they use - whatever it is, it's the perfect thing to tie it all together. My wife loved the Mango Acai bowl - but could do without the pineapple (for her taste). Overall, this place was a good find - they've made a customer out of us.
Side note - we saw the Food Network sign on the window while waiting for our food, and a quick Google seems that the chef and owner here was on Beat Bobby Flay (and won!). Definitely shows!
As for the ambiance, it's a perfect cozy cafe.
Edit: yesterday marked our third day in a row since our original review. My wife is now addicted to the Açai Protein Bowl, and I've loved the Cabo Taco, and Bang Bang Shrimp Taco. We've been working our way through the smoothies - and the Strawberry kids smoothie is delicious, as is the Passion Fruit Smoothie. The Avo Toast is STILL perfect. What a find!! Definitely a must if you're...
Read moreI enjoyed yesterday I was going to write an awesome review today. But for the fact that I was cut in front of any order was taken before me after I had waited there. Waited 20 minutes i was ready walk out because the customer behind me apparently came first. Top of that I'm in a rush to go back to work.Would've been nice to know how do I know and I was gonna be cut in front of. Nice to know there's dates in one of the bowls. I think that wasn't disclosed to me before but. I didn't have this problem yesterday. Nice to know I probably won't come back here. Really not thrilled this is just wasn't a fair experience to me.Nice to know I rushed up here before I close I should've just gone...
Read moreMy husband and I were looking for a local place to hangout, and found this cute location at the corner. The menu had several healthy and delicious choices that included smoothies, acai bowls, coffees, and cold pressed juices as well as salads, soups, and freshly baked goods.
We were greeted by a young, friendly staff member, and I ordered a Berry Delicious Smoothie which was true to its name.
We sat inside by the window in a seating area enough to fit twelve customers to enjoy our drinks. We were even offered a delicious homemade chocolate chip cookie! A definite sweet surprise.
I definitely recommend this place for a quick healthy drink/meal, and to support local...
