Bergen County Garden Center — Local services in Hillsdale

I liked supporting a local business like this. It's convenient and I usually had good experiences there. The man that appears to be the main owner is friendly and helpful. However there is another person that works there or is an owner who has the attitude that you are an inconvenience. The straw that broke the camel's back was this. I needed a part for my grille. I had my extremely well behaved dog with me so I brought it in. This"person" was sitting by the register like king Tut with their dog. Their dog started acting up. Instead of bringing their dog into the back room I was asked in a very agitated manner to take my dog out. I was shocked by this. Most local businesses welcome the dog and this is one of the reasons I prefer to frequent these establishments. A good merchant would have taken their misbehaving dog into the back as a courtesy to the customer. There was someone else helping me anyhow. This person wasn't even working, just sitting there.
