If I can give zero stars I would. From the beginning of the order to the end, beginning with the delivery We ordered this food through Uber eats. The driver delivers it across the street , we see the picture and it’s not our house. My daughter goes out there , crosses the street. The driver is actually in the car, staring at her. He doesn’t say a word while she retrieves the food. That is error number one. We have never ordered from this restaurant and we will never order again nor can we recommend it The rice is parboiled which in itself has a weird flavor. In order to eat this, I had to put quite a bit of hot sauce over it. The French fries were under cooked and soggy. The sandwich was disgusting. Overly salted. Hugs chunks of salt which almost broke my daughter’s tooth. We also ordered dessert- 2 flan and 1 tiramisu. What we recvd was 2 tiramisu and a tres leches cake. The tiramisu is awful , it has the taste of inside a fridge . Probably left inside uncovered. Yuk 🤢 My daughter contacted uber eats on the chat . The rep , Dumani, was rude and told her there’s nothing he could do because it shows it’s delivered. (Yes …. Across the street. ) He then ends the chat. She was furious and called uber eats … after several minutes on hold, she received a full refund. Daniel Chavez was the rep who listened and refunded. She now has to make something in order to eat dinner. This is shameful. On my way back home from Newark Airport, we decided to stop by this little local spot for Portuguese BBQ. Mostly a takeout restaurant, the restaurant offers four small tables for dine in. We decided to sit down and enjoy our meal there rather than taking it to go. The tables offer all the condiments you might want (hot sauce, ketchup, etc). I love the sour/vinegar-y Portuguese hot sauce. It's my favorite to put on everything!

We ordered the full order of beef short ribs (four ribs, rice, and beans) ($18), a NY strip steak with rice and beans ($13), and a half order of pork ribs with rice and beans (I think $8-$10ish?). The owner, Danny, was very kind to offer us some fries to munch on while we were waiting.

The food came promptly and piping hot and cooked to perfection. Danny asked how we liked the steak cooked to which we said medium rare. The strip steak was perfectly medium rare; we loved this!

For the amount of meat/food you get and the pricing, you just can't beat it! This is a cash only business so definitely come prepared! There are a good deal of Portuguese places in the nearby area/towns but this is definitely now added permanently to my list of favorites! I'll definitely be coming back to order takeout...

BAD FOOD, BAD STUFF, BAD EVERYTHING! I had the worst experience at this place. Yesterday it was my first order. Rice was hard and fries was burned, meat came wrong.( I asked for beef ribs, I got sliced ​​meat, everything it was tasteless. The worst was the stuff. When I went back to return that horrible food.l, the lady treated me really bed. They couldn't find my receipt, even when I was there 20 min before. We'll, I paid cash.
