What a wonderful shop! This is a Mexican ice cream shop and it is just amazing. They have the traditional Mexican ice cream bars as well as quite a variety of non dairy options. Cannot think of anywhere else in Hobart that serves chocolate dipped bananas - a personal favorite. For pricier non ice cream options they offer traditional Mangonadas that are enormous and very, very well made. Try one and you will be hooked. My grandkids are huge fans of their freshly made churros. They also have waffle cones and ice cream. I came by this place because my boyfriend had never has a churro and I haven't been in one of these places since my grandpa had passed away. Just recently my cousin killed himself so a lot of wounds are still fresh but Eviana the dessert shop clerk made me feel like I wasn't alone and shared her experiences of death with me. I walked in and scared her she was working on removing ice from the freezer and I had frightened her. After I bought my things she gave me a hug and told me how she understands how I feel. My daughter had asked me if we could go to a Michoacana before we headed back home from an event. I googled it and saw this place. The prices seemed very high in compares to other Illinois and Indiana Michoacanas that I've been to. I bought my kids 2 double scoop Oreo ice creams that were $6 each and as they ate them the whole ice cream tasted like bubblegum. They let me try it and I also tasted the bubblegum.
