Update : it’s been two weeks since I called corporate and they said they would get back to me and no one did. Horrible customer service and again I would not waste your time at this location in particular! Extremely disappointed in how my experience was handled.
Do not waste your time at this location!!
Posted on yelp but I’m posting on google too (from Sunday) I usually love Schlotzsky's because they offer gluten free options and their sandwiches are great! However, this location is awful. They never get my order right and today I ordered a sandwich with gluten free bread through the drive thru along with another sandwich meal I asked for gluten free bread, provolone cheese to be added and honey mustard to my sandwich They rang in regular mustard instead of honey mustard and I did not get provolone cheese. No dressing was seen on my sandwich either. (The first two times I have gone to this location they put regular mustard when I specifically said honey mustard and the girl at the counter repeated honey mustard back to me!?) I noticed on my receipt gluten free bread was not on there.. I ask the manager that is at the window if they used gluten free bread he tells me no and that I did not ask her for it Pretty dang positive that I did being that I have a wheat allergy?? But ok He asked which sandwich needed gluten free bread I told him turkey and I saw him tell the other employees that I needed gluten free with the turkey sandwich. He tells me it will take 3 minutes and to pull in front. The manager brought out my sandwiches.. I noticed as he walked out that he did not have my drinks in his hand and did not have my chips that I ordered either! He proceeds to tell me no I meant for you to pull in front not there.. I parked in a parking spot in front?? He goes back inside and I decided to go inside to get my drinks and chips because obviously the drivethru was pointless He asks me if there’s something else he can get me and I say yes I need two drinks and two bags of bbq chips he asks what size drink I said medium He hands me one cup and one bag of chips after I said two of each... I was fed up at this point and went back home...
I get home and the turkey is on my boyfriends sourdough bread and his chicken is on my bread..... We will NEVER be returning to this location If you’re going to charge $21 and some change for two sandwich meals... GET IT RIGHT. Absolutely Ridiculous.
Corporate has been contacted.. waiting...
Read moreI am not a fan to start with. Their sandwiches are mediocre at best. The sourdough bread is pretty good. The biggest issue I have with the Hobbs, NM. store is the owner. He is a total douche bag when there is a problem. He has no quality control. This evening I got a sandwich for my wife and they burned it and didn't add the extra sauce like requested. I finished my meal and she couldn't finish eating the burnt sandwich so I took it up there for a replacement. The owner tells me to make sure i bring the entire sandwich in next time and not wait an hour. Now this is far from the first time I have had issue with this store. It is like there has to be an all out investigation of someone when there is a screw up. Where is the business motto of the customer is always right and keep the customer happy.
Hopefully the Hobbs mentality toward customer service doesn't ruin the new Firehouse coming soon. I didn't believe the people around me when they said that customer service sucks so badly around here. I have never been in an area where it is this bad.
Ps. Anyone who rates this place over 3 stars either is paid to review positive or R has never stepped foot and eaten outside Hobbs. If you think the owner is nice and caring, approach him with an issue more than 1 time. His attitude is they do nothing wrong and the customers are...
Read moreI’ve been a long-time fan of Schlotzsky’s, but the recent changes under the new ownership in Hobbs have taken this location to a whole new level. The difference is immediately noticeable—from the warm welcome when you walk in, to the cleaner, more inviting atmosphere that makes dining in a pleasure.
Customer service has greatly improved. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to care about your experience. It’s clear they’ve been retrained or newly hired with a focus on hospitality.
Most importantly, the food quality is better than ever. The sandwiches are fresh, well-made, and consistently delicious. You can tell the team is putting pride into what they’re serving.
If you haven’t been in a while, it’s time to give Schlotzsky’s in Hobbs another visit. The new owner has truly raised the bar—this location might just be one of the best sandwich shops...
