Just had a bizarre experience here. I ordered two Misto shakes (a classic Rita’s item that has water ice and custard blended into a shake). I received them and clearly there was no custard in either. I go back and ask a different girl if there was any custard added and she explained that there are now two types of mistos- one with custard and one without. I didn’t know this and the girl who took my order never asked which I wanted and just made it without. When I asked the second girl if custard can be added afterward to fix them, she told me no and gave me a look as if there’s nothing they can do even though I expressed that I’ve ordered a Misto several times before and there’s always custard. I would understand this attitude if this mistake was my fault, but it wasn’t. I go back and ask the same girl for a refund since we didn’t touch the shakes and they’re not what we wanted (basically was watered down water ice). She had to ask another person how to refund an item and the girl who came over politely asked if I wanted them remade with custard. I told her at this point I’m fine with whatever is easier whether it is a refund or having them remade. She remade them for me and had a much better attitude than the other who acted like there was no way a simple shake can be remade/fixed. Very strange and poor customer service. The second girl redeemed the whole experience by making it right, but the others need to be taught how to talk to someone and treat a customer when something is made incorrectly or not what they wanted.
