We went there we ordered Wings, a pizza, two calzones. We all got sodas.First The waitress never came back to ask us about our drinks. She spent all her time talking to this other table because she knew the people. Our pizza was burnt. The two calzones were burnt. I took basically took the toppings off the pizza and out of at least one of the calzones and ate the toppings left all of the crushed upside down so they could see it was burnt. I told the waitress and she went. Oh, sorry about that.. I kind of expected her to go get a manager. I told her when we were at the table so I went to pay. I took the tray with all the burnt crust and set it on the counter pay my $65 bill. Left and then called the manager, cause she never got a manager. He was like oh I could’ve made you a new pizza in six minutes. There’s something wrong with our ovens and they sometimes burn the pizzas or as he put it cook them extra dark. I didn’t believe him about the six minutes because it took 35 minutes for us to get our food the first time. He never offered to comp us anything.. and I told him that my first visit to your restaurant in that city and my friends live there. We are in the process of moving there in the spring. I have a family of five. I’ve had their pizza before the only reason we went there, but that was over in Columbus with some other friends, and it was awesome. He did say that they know the oven overcooked the pizza sometimes and they should’ve checked it before they sent it out. I should not have to send back my pizza to be cooked because they’re your oven is broke and you knew it.. I guess next time maybe we’ll try the one over on Main Street because we really did like Donatos’s pizza but the service was lacking. The food was not good. Oh except for the wings. I do not send my food back At restaurants. If I send it back, I just want to leave and not get any more food. Because I have worked in restaurants and the cook sometimes will get mad spit in your food and do all kind of disgusting things to your food . That’s why I don’t do that. Everybody says oh our cooks wouldn’t do that, but I worked in a high-end restaurant Marco’s heritage Inn in Daytona Beach Florida. And they did terrible things through the food when it got sent back.. I was kind of irritated because I told the waitress and nothing was done. Nobody came to see me or talk to me. That’s why I left and called back because I know me and I would’ve said things I regretted later. So the wise thing for me to do was call back and talk to The manager. I explained this to him and he just kept saying I could’ve remade your pizza and I kept saying well. I shouldn’t have to wait for you to make remake my pizza. Should’ve just made it right the first time. What if I would’ve had that pizza delivered to my residence and it looked like that. Anyways, I will never visit that restaurant again. Read moreI called to order an Italian sub and pizza sub. Instead of telling me they don't have pizza subs, they give me a big Don marinara. That comes with lettuce, Tomato, etc. Definitely not a pizza sub. When I called back to ask, the guy said he doesn't know what to tell me and was very rude. I told him neither my boyfriend or myself would eat it and it was a waste of money. He still continued to tell me he doesn't know what to tell me and they've never had pizza subs. Now, I've never ordered from here so I didn't know this but I specifically asked the lady that took my order for pepperoni, cheese and sauce. He said he'd make me one this time and wouldn't in the future. Maybe they should let you know when you call that they don't have something when you ask for it instead of giving you something else. He said it'd be about a half hour and the sun would be delivered. When the driver got here, he was rude as hell and rude. Stood there on the porch with a dumb look on his face. Didn't say a word even after he was told thank you and have a good night. Even after we turned around to close the door, he stood there with a dumb look on his face. Read moreWe ordered online. We received our order. Driver left. We realized we were missing a sauce. Husband called back and they said that they would send out the sauce. Then my daughter said that there's no dressing for her sub. My husband calls back and was put on hold 8 mins. We wanted them to know about the dressing so they could send the missing sauce and the missing dressing together. So while he's on hold I call. A girl immediately picks up and goes to take my order. I explained that my husband is on hold and that we need a dressing sent with the sauce. Craziness.... Then the driver arrived with a attitude... ( I'm sure some of the attitude was because they were busy and to the delivery guy bringing a sauce and a dressing seemed pointless but to us it was important). He was very rude..... He raised his voice about this situation like it was our fault that they had 15 lines to answer and that it was busy.... We didn't even know that they had 15 lines..... Grrrr... We usually have a great experience with Donatos. It's crazy how missing items can create craziness and attitude. I wish that I could delete this experience.... Tomorrow is a new day...
