Stopped by this spot for breakfast and the service really stole the show. Nancy, our server, was incredible—bubbly, personable, and on point with her recommendations. She kept things moving smoothly and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The hosts were also on top of their game, ensuring our table stayed clear and our coffee and water were never empty. We sat down at 10 and, impressively, had our food by 10:15. Parking was a bit tricky, with only about 20 spots available, but manageable if you’re patient. Prices were reasonable and matched the overall experience. Now, onto the food: it was a mixed bag. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs over easy, diced potatoes, and wheat toast, paired with a cup of coffee. While everything looked fine, the taste fell short. The chicken fried steak lacked crunch and was more on the chewy side. The eggs were just... there—no flavor to speak of. The diced potatoes were mushy and forgettable, and the coffee was weak, barely enough to kick-start the morning. All in all, the service alone makes this place worth visiting, and I’d give it another shot if I find myself nearby. But I won’t be making a 20-minute drive just for it again. Here’s hoping they can match their stellar service with better food quality in the future.

Extremely disappointing. First time here, and the reviews looked favorable. I'm old enough to feel charmed by the time warp experience with the Marlboro clock, grungy popcorn ceilings, and poor lighting. The service was responsive and friendly despite the crowd. It went downhill from there. The coffee seemed more like they'd meant to rinse yesterday's coffee out of the carafe but instead of pouring the rinse water out they heated it up and served it. In short, bad tasting and weak. The Travelers breakfast - the home potatoes were fine, especially the crunchy bits, the scrambled eggs with ham just meh. But I added a gluten free pancake with strawberries and whipped cream. The pancake was oddly lumpy rubbery, inedible. The margarine too hard to spread. I ate the fruit and cream, and to be fair they were lovely. So many places, even iHop, have good gluten free pancakes, so this was bizarre. My son had a lackluster country fried steak and has had a terrible tummy ache ever since. Not sure why this place is popular. I couldn't eat or drink half of my food. $35 later, we won't be returning.

After our first visit, we’ve become fans. We ordered the Skillet Special with shredded potatoes and sausage, as well as the Western Omelette with bacon and house potatoes. The skillet special was super super tasty. Swapping the house potatoes for shredded was a good choice, as they had great texture and were well-prepared. Tons of flavor from the cheese, egg, onions, sausage, and the rest of the toppings. Would definitely recommend this dish. The western omelette was quite nice. Plenty of cheese, bacon, and peppers. The potatoes were well prepared and neither burnt nor undercooked like you’d typically get at someplace like Dennys. We also shared a scone, which was huge. We mixed our butter with honey and it was a fantastic addition to the scone. The one part of the meal that was forgettable were the biscuits that come with each dish. The flavor was good, but they were so dry that it was difficult to chew and swallow. Every bite needed to be accompanied with a swig of water to help it down. Overall, we loved our visit and the service we received, and we’ll definitely return.

OMG!!! The food = A+... The Service = A+... The Atmosphere =A+... Overall experience = priceless! I stopped in to Sharon's Cafe during my lunch break by myself, with little to no expectations! I had heard nothing about the place and simply wanted to step out of the norm (you know, 1 of those days, ughh!) and found it on Google Maps... In my 30-plus years I can't recall ever stepping through the front doors of a business and literally have my spirits lifted! Everything about the place is warm and inviting, every waitress (was REALLY CUTE) smiled and said "hello" or stopped at my booth and asked how I was doing. It's obvious they all seem to genuinely enjoy being there... So you won't be greeted by the typical name-tagged uniform with an antidepressant induced fake smile, that's on her 5th bathroom/smoke break right as you need your first drink refill like you get at most places!!! SO NOT COOL 😐! SHARON'S CAFE, I learned only serves breakfast and lunch so the menu reflects that and is relatively small... perfect for an indecisive guy on a short lunch break, or even a family full of picky eaters... I think most places give you too many choices which (at least for me) often fills my stomach with doubt and regret for over paying for something I wasn't 100% sure I wanted due to, 1/3 indecisiveness/1/3 limited-time/and 1/3 too many choices! The best part about Sharon's is they're more than willing to accommodate special requests and/or substitute items for dietary or any other reason... Plus, they won't nickel and dime you for such a request...! Bottom line is this, perhaps your experience isn't as Awesome as mine was, (HIGHLY DOUBTFUL! hey, just sayin) but you still owe it to yourself to go check out Sharon's Cafe, I can honestly say they now have a customer for life!

Sincerely,...

I went to brunch with my husband and a friend today. I had the Greek Omelette which came with home-style potatoes, fried red tomatoes, and toast or a biscuit. I chose the biscuit. We all split a scone, and got three coffees. The three of us ate for about 40.00 before tip.

The Greek Omelette contains green peppers and onions and is topped with a far too generous spoonful of feta cheese. The homestyle hash had some crunchy browned potatoes scattered through the rest, but they weren't flavorful. The overwhelming feta and bland potatoes were my only problems though. Everything else was fantastic. The fried red tomatoes were absolutely delicious, and the biscuit was obviously homemade, flaky and still hot from the oven. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna try their gravy and biscuits the next time I go, and I don't do gravy and biscuits. That's how good that biscuit was. The scone was darned tasty too, perfect with butter and honey.

I tried some of my husbands breakfast burrito, and we both agreed it was one of the best breakfast burritos we've had in the valley. Sharons variation actually made it to his top three breakfast burritos.

Let's talk about the service. I don't think I have ever seen food in a diner get out to a table so fast, and in such a busy restaurant. I've enjoyed brunches at the Park Cafe, The Original Pancake House, Even Stevens, Brittons, The Waffle House, but none of them were able to get the food out to us in the speed that Sharons did today. It didn't feel like half an hour after we'd ordered that our food was on our table. Our waitress was attentive, but not so attentive as to be intrusive.

So, I would recommend Sharons to anyone, just not the greek omelette...though those fried tomatoes might make...

Sharon's Cafe is one of the few places I have found that I can order lunch for breakfast (which I love!). Their burgers are pretty good, I especially like the garlic burger which is served on garlic toast. I am a sucker for a good club sandwich and Sharon's does a pretty good one. As far as their breakfast items, Sharon's Special with marinated pork is divine. I also like their variety of specials.

The main reason why this place is my favorite breakfast/lunch joint is the owners and the staff. They are just so super friendly and really care about their customers. There are clearly a lot of regulars and you can see them (the customers) and the staff just chatting away - keeping tabs on their life and their struggles... all the while still delivering stellar service to everyone else.

Sharon is hands on and makes sure that things run smoothly. I appreciate that attention to detail. Sometimes when owners step back the quality of the restaurant declines and I appreciate that Sharon (and her hubby) keep on top of things. Plus her hubby is a retired cop... I'm not sure what it is about that but it kind of gives the place a "cop bar" type feel but in a breakfast spot. I like it. And my military friends like it. The place is just really down to earth with no form of...
