I'm a huge food critic so naturally, I will be very hard to please when it comes to quality, taste, and presentation of food as well as service. I've had the pleasure of dining here multiple times and each time, the food, service, & humble ambiance have been nothing short of spectacular. Located in a small strip mall on the north side of Holland, MI, this place is easy to overlook and totally unassuming. Don't miss out on this 'diamond in the rough!' I usually don't take the time to write a review unless my experiences has been extremely poor or very phenomenal. My regret is not knowing about this establishment until very recently and they have been here since 2017. I live less than five minutes away and simply didn't really know it existed. TOA has won me over and there's no doubt they have earned me as well as those who have discovered this restaurant as their regular customers. The reviews you will discover are well deserved. This restaurant is the real deal if you are seeking authentic Thai, Vietnamese, & Lao cuisine with great service from a very wonderful humble and hard working family!

When we first discovered this place, we thought it was a great place. The food is good. However, after about 5 orders they started having problems. We frequently would get the wrong orders and have to go back there to get the right ones. One of the times we had to go back twice to get the right ones, so we stopped eating here. We recently decided to try it again and put in 3 orders. Only 1 of the orders was correct. The other two had the right number on the menu, but the name of the dish wasn't even on the menu. We called and they said they misunderstood us on the phone the first time and they would make the correct ones and we could pick them up. This was 7:45 pm and they were about to close. Upon getting home with the orders, we discovered the two orders, while still not being right, were actually for some kind of third dish not even close to what we ordered. By then it was 8:05 pm and they weren't answering the phone. I left a voicemail to contact me in the morning and asked for a refund because we never got what we ordered. They still have not contacted me about this issue. So, they can't get orders right and they don't offer anything, even an apology when they get the orders wrong TWICE. I don't recommend this place at all if you want to get what you actually order and get it the first time you order it. This...

Never experienced a restaurant like this before. We will never go back again. Very bad services. We get there and there was no one to greet us. Since there was no one there we just went to sit down by ourselves. We sat there 15 minutes and was about to walk out. Finally the lady came to tell us to scan the QR code on the wall for menu. After looking at the menu and already decided what we want to order. But still no one came to take our orders. We sat and waited there for another 15 minutes still no one came to take our orders. Then I thought maybe we have to go order at the counter and pay first. So I went there and waited another 5 minutes for them. Finally the lady came back and I said I would like to order two bowls of pho. Then she said, oh you don't have to come order here we will come take your order. I told her we were sitting here for almost 30 minutes and no one came so I thought we have to order and pay first. Then finally a guy came to take our orders. The pho were expensive but ok. They never check how we are doing. We ran out of water and they never came to refill. Yet, they automatically charged us 20% tip....
