What I just experienced is the worst “service” I have encountered in my life. I showed up to pick up my order and there were 4 other people waiting while, who appeared to be the manager was just walking around sweeping with headphones on, while all the other employees were visibly very busy making pizzas. After about 10 minutes one of the other waiting customers got the managers attention and asked if he could check if his pizza was ready, the manger made one of the busy employees stop what he was doing to check out this customer and walked away. None of the other customers waiting in line were still even acknowledged. After another 10 minutes of all the customers in the lobby waiting to even be acknowledged, I got the managers attention and asked if he could see if my pizza was ready. He proceeded to what can only be described as an animal puffing out his chest and told me I “should wear a name tag so they know who’s waiting” I told him we had been out there waiting and he hadn’t even acknowledged any of us in the lobby while he was just sweeping, he then said “ I don’t care about you” and handed me my pizza, which had been ready the entire time we had been waiting. I’m so disgusted by this behavior and won’t be back for sure, which doesn’t really matter since as he said they don’t care. I wish there was another Papa John’s in the area since it’s my favorite, but oh well. Do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere else where they at least don’t act like an animal challenging you when you just ask...
Read moreThis place is hot or cold and unfortunately I don't just mean the temperature of the pizza you'll be served. Depending on whom is working, your food will be either correct, hot, and fast or you'll get an approximation of your order.
Most recently I ordered a pizza with bacon and cooked well done. Neither of those things were what we received. The store offered us a refund or a new pizza in exchange for the one they got wrong. First, that pizza is MINE. I paid for it and whether I want to eat it, pitch it, or give it away to geese in the park it is mine to with as I see fit. You have no claim to it. Secondly, they offer a carry out but not delivery saying that their delivery is through Door Dash. So how does that work? You're giving Door Dash a cut to deliver all your orders? Or are you remaking the orders in Door dash and then having the customer pay the difference? Either way it's an insult to not offer to send someone to right the wrong of your business.
I would hesitate to give your money to this restaurant because it is impossible to know what you will get! Better alternatives nearby include Doeb's Pizza or Jets on Washington. Both offer better, more consistent products and deserve your money more than this nightmare of...
Read moreShould have read reviews first I guess, strap in y'all, still wrapping my head around this:
Home visiting family for the first time in a long while after retiring from the Navy. We order four pizzas, Sister is told "ready on 10 minutes". Okay, great. BiL and I leave and arrive at the store @ 5:03. Skinny kid with long hair hits us with "we're closed" as soon as we walk in. BiL let's him know we already ordered, just here to pick up. "Nope, we closed at 5, I voided that order" (call was placed at 4:48) BiL asks "So you never even made them?" He points at the wrack behind him "No they're made". So...I have cash, offer to pay. "Nope, everything is off. Can't ring it up. We're closed" Obviously we are frustrated, and this guy refuses to work with us on it. As we are walking out the door, kid laughs and yells "Happy holidays!" Very fortunate it was us, other folks likely would have reacted with violence at that point. Why make a sale if you know you plan to close early? (He gets to take it all home I guess, kudos) Why the extra attitude as we leave? Corporate will be getting quite a few calls after the holidays, this was over the top...
