If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The receptionist and front office staff were pheasant, however, not the Dentist. This experience happened to me about a year and a half ago and it has taken me this long to open up about it due to the traumatic situation. I have been traumatized by dentists since I was young (and I’m 37 years old) but this young female dentist was definitely the worst experience I have had in my life regarding dental issues. This young female dentist was an awful. A nightmare would be an understatement. She was impatient and extremely rough with my tooth extraction. No emotion. No feeling of safety. All pain. She was so rude. Also, let me mention, the week before my tooth extraction, she had tried to save my tooth by putting in a filling when she hit a nerve. A lot of pain and blood. I would NEVER go back here, let alone to the dentist since her. Due to this experience. I have been to many community dental offices including cherry health in Grand Rapids. I tried to explain to her, during the extraction that it felt like she was ripping my whole jaw off. Never in my life have experienced a tooth extraction so brutal. Brutal enough to compare to torture. Stay away from this dentist...

I appreciate that they're there with a sliding scale for people who have no insurance. The place is somewhat clean, the doctor's, while slow as they're perpetually over-booked I'm guessing, are very good; especially Dr. Libra. I'm also guessing he could retire quite happily and golf all summer, but, he cares about his patients. It shows. If you're white and doubt the existence of prejudice in this country, make an appointment here. You'll actually see what it's like to be the minority as the clerical staff and nurse's all speak Spanish to their mainly Hispanic clientele. It's given me a humble lesson about being tolerant to ALL people. Hispanics are not illegal aliens. They're people, just like me...and you. Hopes, dreams, homes, families and illnesses. Be kind to everyone. I don't HAVE to go there. I choose to because I like Dr. Libra.

4 Stars...as stated, sometimes they're painfully slow. My daughter had out-patient surgery, was in recovery, and, sent back home in a shorter amount of time that it took me to have a 15 minute appt with the MD.

I could give 0 stars if I could. Whoever the receptionist is (Rachel I think) needs to take accountability for her mistake! Called this morning to make emergency appt for my 8yo nephew. We were told to come in at 4pm. My sister requested to leave work early for this appt. First off, they didn’t even have the correct phone number on file. Therefore, we did not get a confirmation text. After arriving at 4pm, we were rudely told that our appt was at 3:30pm and that we could not be seen anymore…..she then tells us that we’d be charged $50 for a no-show. HOW!? asked for office manager and she was no help. She repeated the same thing and was no help to us. How are you going to charge me a no-show fee when your receptionist was the one who messed up!????? Your receptionist told us 4PM!!!!!!! Specifically requested to leave work early for this appt…This facility does not practice any medical ethics and do not care about their patients. They are just money hungry! DO...
