Awesome experience working with Gabe !!! After our basement remodel was completed in late June we were in desperate need of professional experience troubleshooting our audio/video system which was not functioning once I put it all back together. We have a TV, PS5, Projector screen and unit, stereo receiver, Apple TV and a couple other applications.
Gabe arrived on time and was in constant communication before our appointment. Upon arrival I found Gabe to be very customer/client service driven, also his knowledge of our system components was impressive. Once Gabe began exploring our components it was clear this young man was incredibly well versed in home entertainment systems.
During the nearly 10 hours of onsite work and service across two days, I had it in my mind that we would need new equipment and components. At two different times during the 10 hours I was considering new equipment which would have cost us thousands of dollars. Gabe had two opportunities to upsell me into new components, however, he was determined to discover a solution which he did. At the end of the second day Gabe delivered the desired result which was to restore our existing system to its original state before the remodel.
At the end of his visits 10 Gabe had our system operational and the install work related to hiding cords & cables was flawless. Anyone in the market for home entertainment needs look no further than Vandenberg Stereo !!!

Not satisfied with ridiculing me until he made me cry in the store, he said he would never help anyone like me, he followed me out the door, still yelling at me.
When I called the store back, 30 minutes later, to try to get an appointment with someone in service, he picked up the phone, realized it was me, called me a name and hung up on me.
Horrible horrible people.
UPDATED: I called back because they were the people I had always trusted and my family had always bought stereo equipment from them.
I am not in China, not sure why the owner thinks China would be so interested in him.

Read moreWe had two Roku’s installed today. We had a young guy walk in and he looked so young, believe me he might have been young but he knew what he was doing and never had to look up at any book or hesitate to get everything hooked up. He helped us (2 older folks) He walked us thru every step and hooked it up to our computer and then arranged the apps on our TV so it was easier for us to find what we wanted. He is a recent high school graduate and is now working full time for the company. This was a very smart move on Vanden Bergs part so they now have another capable service guy that can do it all. His name is Victor and we will ask for him again!! Thank you Victor...
