I have never left a review on a restaurant before but this place is worth the effort of me typing one. Me and my bf were visiting holland and went here for our one year anniversary, we were craving some dank pho and wanted to find a good buffet spot and this place did not disappoint. When we enter the restaurant we were greeted by the owner (who is also the cook). He was very welcoming asked us if weâd been here before because he didnât recognize us and showed us everything in the buffet, what it is, and explained his creations to us. He was very personable and kind and ask if we wanted him to make more of anything. Not only was the service great but the food was amazing. Everything was warm and fresh (which can be hard to find with buffet) and had amazing depth of flavor. We both liked it way better than our regular pho spot at home. The place was also decorated lovely and had a great atmosphere. The owner asked us right away what we wanted to drink and when he brought them out he apologized for the wait and explained he was teaching his daughter how to make the spring roles â¤ď¸. Lovely place we will definitely be back next time weâre in town. (No karens) (my bf says he loves the Carolina...
Read moreHusband and I went out while in Holland. Google had this under Chinese food we figured it out when we arrived but we decided to give it a go We don't eat out anymore together because every single restaurant or fast food doesn't have good allergy awareness or procedures. So we are super happy to find a place! We ordered the Egg rolls (absolutely fantastic!), Broccoli chicken stir fry with fried noodles (I loved it) with no heat and his was sesame chicken. Very flavorful dishes! Only thing I would say is if you have GI issues or can't do heat be very clear on that. My husband's food had red chili peppers with seeds and membranes still, and it wasn't pleasant for his stomach but didn't remember seeing that in the menu in sesame chicken. He loved the food other than that. We know Thai is usually to be spicy so he might not of understood us when we ordered. T was great, really made us feel special His wife is an amazing chef. Breath of fresh...
Read moreWe stopped for lunch on the way through town and ordered Massaman and Paneng curries as well as spring rolls. A 4.6 rating seemed like a safe bet. Well, it wasn't. The pork spring fresh rolls had lots of yummy veggies and the dipping sauce was flavorful, but the 'pork' was actual Bacos (fake bacon bits).... that is a first- who substitutes Bacos for pork???? When the curries came much later later (they serve a buffett and a few patrons were eating that), the sauce was a tomato base with some spices, not a coconut curry. I don't think there was much if any coconut milk or curry in it. There was a decent amount of veggies some of which were fresh vs frozen, but it wasn't anything resembling a curry at all. My husband ordered 'Thai hot' and it had a few red pepper flakes but was not hot. Overall we were very disappointed and won't stop there again. We should have waited to get to Mamma Thai in...
