Worry Review: Unexpectedly Positive Experience at Arby’s I’m concerned.
I walked into Arby’s expecting the usual: mild disappointment, maybe a lukewarm curly fry, a soda machine out of my favorite flavor. But that’s not what happened. Not at all.
The food? Was food. Honest-to-goodness food. Warm, assembled properly, no mystery sauces where they didn’t belong. I bit into my sandwich and actually enjoyed it. That’s not part of the deal I signed up for.
Even more unsettling? The service was fast. Like… suspiciously fast. I barely had time to open my Arby’s app coupon before my name was called. No eye rolls. No mumbled “we’re out of that.” Just pure, competent efficiency. Frankly, I don’t know who trained this staff, but someone needs to check if they’re okay.
And don’t even get me started on the atmosphere. Clean tables. Soft lighting. Relaxing music playing overhead that didn’t make me feel like I was trapped in an elevator from 2006. I almost stayed longer just to rest. This is fast food, not a spa. Let’s not blur the lines, Arby’s.
In conclusion, everything went right, and I’m not sure how to feel about that. If this keeps happening, I might have to start recommending Arby’s unironically—and I don’t know if I’m ready for that kind of emotional commitment.

Read moreWe came through the drive through and grabbed lunch - a chicken bacon and Swiss without tomato or lettuce meal with curly fries and a coke, a roast beef sandwich with curly fries and a drink, and an 8 piece jalepeno bite. We waited twelve minutes for our food. As we were pulling out of the drive I took a bite of a curly fry and they were not hot - I checked both orders and they were both not hot. Then I took a drink of my soda and it was Diet Coke. Then my partner took a bite of his sandwich and it was also not hot. Then I opened my sandwich and there was tomato and lettuce on it. When I called the guy who answered the phone, Devin, was argumentative. When my partner went in to get our order corrected the same guy continued to argue that our food was fine. My partner pointed out the heat lamps weren’t even on to keep the fried food warm. Devin told us he would not give us “free food” and that our food was made fine, except the sandwich being made wrong. He ended up refunding our order. This wasted 30 minutes of our day sitting waiting for our food, getting cold food, and then being refused a correction. Your employees should be willing to correct their mistakes and taught to treat customers with more...
Read moreMy folks went here to meet my aunt and uncle (uncle didn't like to tip - told my father that he tipped too much. They were quite wealthy. Uncle has since passed). Typical fast food interior, nothing special. Food was acceptable to my late parents but I NEVER liked most of it. Prior to Covid, I would get coupons in the mail (as most people did) and I would order the Jamoca (sp?) shake, and / or fries / poppers. Suddenly, even with coupons, the size of the shake was ludicrous. I quit going altogether. No more coupons arrive and fine by me. I haven't eaten meat, for the most part, since 2013. The arrival of our pet dog (dumped off by some heartless idiot) to our house cemented my growing distaste for the meat industry. Still, prior to that, I NEVER thought that Arby's "cheap" fast food was tasty. The meat is fatty and just not flavorful. If I wanted to eat meat, I'd buy ground beef from the grocery store and grill it. That is flavor. Long ago, I quit wasting $$ on ALL Arby's selections. It was definitely one factor in my decision to turn...
