The only reason I'm even giving it a 2 star is because the food was good, as it usually is. I visited the 16th st. location tonight with a larger party. We sat down and ordered our drinks and immediately it went down hill. The 2 waters were brought out quickly but the juice we ordered came out a few minutes later. I ordered a soda after that when more of our party showed up and again it took about 5 minutes to get it. I would understand if our server was swamped and it was busy, but it was a Wednesday night and he had us and a couple other tables. The refill took 10 minutes to get because he never payed attention to the table. I had to put my empty cups and dirty plates on another table just to get it out of my way. I had it all stacked up sitting on the end of the table, he just left them. Food came out in 5 different trips, from 3 different employees and still had to ask for tortillas 2 times because they weren't brought out. $5 for a single chicken taco and nachos that were not made correcr due to thr server again NOT PAYING ATTENTION. Very frustrating visit all around. Sad because I like the food but the service is terrible. With so many options for Mexican food in Holland I might have to try...
Read moreI was very disappointed with my service Monday 1/22/2019. I work second shift and our supervisor orders food for us and goes to pick it up. I ordered the special combination that has a lot of food and is rather expensive. I ordered it without sour cream or guacamole. When I got my food the chalupa was in with the chiles rellenos and had guacamole all over it. So not only was it wrong but it was soggy. When I tried to eat the chiles rellenos there was a hair in it. I was absolutely disgusted. When I called the manager he didn't apologize just asked if I wanted a new chalupa and relleno. I said that I deserved a new meal. So I went to pick it up today and the manager still was not in the least bit apologetic. Just kept saying that next time I should bring the meal with me. I told him that the meal was still in the car and he could get it if he wanted. And actually there will be no next time. I understand that sometimes things happen but if service is not the best management should apologize and remedy it without intimating that the customer is trying to...
Read moreI ordered food with them many times over the phone (pollo con arroz and, a Michelada to drink without alcohol) always the same order but, they never remembered it. They acted oblivious to a customer that was a regular one. At one point I went to eat on the tables outside, it was only me on a 4 chair table. There were 3 more tables; one larger and one smaller. The waiter came outside and asked me to move to leave that table “in case” a bigger party came to eat. I was their regular customer that they did not remember, they should been more attentive with me for being loyal to their food. I told him that the customer had the right to sit wherever he wanted but, if a larger party would show, I would move. I wasn’t in an 8 or 12 chair table. I was on a 4 room table. The restaurant had plenty of other tables for people to be seated and, I set there because the sun wasn’t right on my face.
I’m Mexican, and I feel their “good service” was directed only to non Hispanics.
