When I was there, everything was too high priced - beyond online; this includes newer collectibles along with the rest. I was a dealer in this location when it first opened. Those owners are long gone (and should be). When I did go there recently, I was followed by an crusty, old white haired woman that I once kind of knew - one of those fixtures that are in every mall. The older man dealer, at the counter, is a former neighbor who was always nasty to me (since I was young - liked my Mother but not me - complicated, weird past history). He had the old fixture follow me. What a joke. The only item that was a bargain actually came out of his booth; I picked it up as she was lurking around me. I knew what that sleazy move was about (he has also grown creaky). I also know the owner but when I contacted her, she didn't respond. I've heard, from MANY dealers, that she's quick to remove them if they don't sell enough. This is something that I feel is NOT BAD - too many malls have DEAD merchandise. I can't confirm but do know that when she kicks dealers out, she fills their spaces with her own merchandise - about 40% of this mall is her merchandise; truly what I've heard through grapevine, can't confirm. I can only say that she must have better stuff or changes it around more often - always a good thing. This place is a lovely, historic old building - still has a great restaurant and bar - all since the 1940's and beyond. I will say, you'll see great displays in the shop; it really looks nice and neat. Be sure to check prices online before purchasing; these days, it isn't usual in many antique shops / malls, that prices are a bit on the high side. Good luck to all. I'll go back when said people are gone and re-rate if...
Read moreToday Monday July 29th at approximately 3:25pm the lady you had working the counter with light hair in a clip was absolutely so unpleasant and incredibly rude from the moment we had walked up. First we grabbed a few cans of sodas and set them on the counter and she rudley snipped at us before we even had the chance to set them down saying "you can only pay cash for them!" (Mind you while my partner was standing right there in front of her waiting holding a wad of cash in his hand..) I kindly stated "Yes, we know. That's also why he's standing there with cash out in his hand ready, but thank you.." Where she didn't say a thing to then as we were going to purchase the other item we had, we then noticed as she was taking the price tag off of it that it had a separate price tag on it. As there must have been 2 prices written down on it and we had not seen the second one until then. So kindly explained that and stated that we were no longer interested in the item for the price of the second tag and apologized sincerely. Where she then responded by rolling her eyes and making other faces right in front of us, then proceeded to belittle us about not knowing their procedures for writing price tickets and booth numbers and so on. We come here, and SHOP often! But if that is going to be the treatment we continue on getting - we...
Read moreI have had a pretty good experience there, 10/10!
I was shopping in the book section and looking for something about the oldWW2 planes. The owner and I had a little chat and I felt like the owner values his costumers! The owner also gave me a discount on my items which was very nice of him and the other folks running the counter were also fun to talk too!
Why should you pay a visit here? There is a great selection of antiques and other cool stuff! The mall is bigger than you think, its a maze of wonders!
Is pricing ok? The pricing is acceptable, sometimes it gets a little expensive but the items here are quality and clean.
Over all I had a good impression and I am enjoying the items I bought! This place offers great variety, if you are really into thrifting you could spend quite a...
