This is an automatic 5⭐ in all but one category I was given a unique opportunity to be in the owner's life before this business was started and I got to taste the tamales before but I will say my baby Mama's Family's tamales are better one of the owners who I used to work with sold tamales at work that his wife would make and they would always come wrapped beautifully in paper now to be honest it is 2024 and nowhere near enough people have visited this restaurant or bought stuff from it I have not had the opportunity because I am financially poor to explore all of their menu and I have only been there once as respect to the owner and I would absolutely love to try the entire menu before going any further into this review I do take them as being far more across the border then On The Border this is not American food but food where...

After a long drive from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, we stopped in Holland for the night and I’m so glad HappyCow led us to Tamales Plus! Not only did they have vegan options, they had a whole vegan menu—a rare and delightful find.

We ordered the vegan tamales, rice, and beans (all vegan and delicious!), plus chips with mild salsa and hot sauce. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and comforting. The agua frescas were the perfect refreshment—especially the hibiscus & jamaica and the pineapple & cucumber varieties.

The place itself is small and cozy with great energy, and the people were absolutely lovely. If I lived in Holland, this would hands-down be my go-to spot. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, homemade Mexican food with solid vegan...

Went once with my bf and we both decided this place is delicious! We ordered the tamale special received two pork tamales with rice and beans and hot salsa. We also bought a steak burrito with all toppings came with hot salsa. Also two steak tacos with cilantro and onion. A large jimaca drink and large horachata. The total was about $30. The tamales were sooo good very moist and lots of flavor not shy of meat at all. The burrito was not sloppy at all to eat and so yummy my bf nearly ate it all by himself. The tacos were ok they tasted a little sweet maybe from the tortillas but it’s something we wouldn’t order again. Not nasty just would try a different taco. Overall customer service was nice as well and quick service. Will be...

Tamales plus didnt disappoint that's for sure. My wife and I shared an order of steak nachos and I had a fish taco. The nachos were piled high with tons of steak, freshly made pico de gallo, onions, cilantro. Instead of using a warm nacho cheese they could of used fresh shredded but either way they were delicious. My dish taco was absolutely on point. It was a piece of tilapia fried to perfection. They topped it with a fresh made spicy style Cole slaw and was served with a side of beans and rice. Tamales plus also had coke shipped from Mexico. Try one if you havent because they're better than the US coca cola. Cost was roughly 30 bucks for two of us to eat. Very enjoyable experience and we will be back

My wife and I are here today. First Impressions: Easy location to get to. Clean seating area but interior very small. Wheelchair accessible via a wooden ramp. Bathroom was clean. Food: Good location for gluten-free food. Pork tamale was very good to excellent, spices and temperature were on point. Beans and rice were very good, seasoned properly, and were very tasty. Steak burrito: Steak burrito was sub par. The tortilla was a bit raw. Flavor was lacking in the meat and was served lukewarm. Sweet Tamale: My wife liked the sweet strawberry tamale, giving it a solid 4.5. When you come, don't miss the pork tamale, beans and rice. Chips and salsa are also delicious.
