I've been a long time customer for many years. My favorite employee is Deborah. Shes pleasant, polite, and professional. She is grace under pressure. So, I take my young son here at least once a week. I've grown accustomed to my order being incorrect. Most of the time I deal with it without complaint. Otherwise I will politely and patiently ask them to correct it. Never have I yelled at them or given them attitude. I understand mistakes happen, especially when you're short staffed and in a meal rush. But I had the worst experience a few days ago. I came through the drive thru on Wed about 3:30. When I pulled up to the first window the young lady told me a price of $15 and some change. I asked if that was the price of a cheeseburger meal now, laughing and joking with her about how much prices had gone up. She clarified which order and gave me the correct amount. When she handed me my receipt, I pulled forward. While I waited for the car in front of me I noticed that my order wasn't exactly as I ordered. Cheeseburgers only ketchup. So, when I reached the second window I tried to let the young lady know that it wasn't quite right, as I pointed to my receipt. I said I didn't think she heard me, referring to whomever took my order. This young lady approached her manager around the corner. The manager then proceeds to shout at me with an impatient attitude, "DID SHE READ THE ORDER TO YOU?!" I was very surprised by her reaction. I stuttered and stammered. She shouts impatiently again, "DID MY EMPLOYEE READ YOUR ORDER BACK TO YOU??" I said no before I could think, recalling how she initially quoted the wrong price. She shouts to the young lady at the first window, "DID YOU READ THIS LADY'S ORDER BACK TO HER??" That employee says yeah. The manager turns back towards me and shouts, "SHE SAYS SHE DID!" Again I stutter and stammer, feeling as if i had done something wrong and try to explain, but she cuts me off and says, "YOU'RE A DAMN LIAR! PULL AHEAD!!" I pull forward and a few minutes later she comes to the third window and continues to scream at me that I'm a liar and that the next time she won't fix my order. And then throws the bag of food at me. I didn't even get my full order! I truly hope this was on camera and I sincerely hope the sound was recorded as well. I don't know if that lady is racist but she definitely needs to be retrained in how to communicate with people. I wasn't ever yelling, throwing attitude, or being violent. I did not deserve to be treated like that or to have food thrown at me. If the receipt would have been easily readable I would have made a formal complaint. I don't want that manager fired, I just want her to get whatever professional help she needs, and perhaps she needs to get retrained. I'm referring to whomever the dark skinned female manager working...
Read moreI'm an employee and happy to shed light on some of the complaints I've heard. Let me start out with an issue that effects employees AND customers. Our pay allows us to be the working poor, so please try to be understanding that you dont often get highly motivated or competent employees with that kind of pay. You get the scraps normally, and the good ones work their way up and away from the food service part and focus on the customer service aspect. Keeping that in mind, we deal with rude people all night, most of them drunk or in some other condition that impairs them. I myself have been the victim of a number of customers that berate and insult and even threaten me despite my genuine smile and pleasantness, apologetic attitude for whoever or whatever wronged them, and eagerness to try and satisfy whatever issue has arisen. We are also often short-staffed, over-worked, and left to scramble on our own, most employees doing three or four different jobs in different locations in the building over the course of the night. Examples include items prepped during the day running out and not having the staff to stop cooking food for orders to prep these items. We have to prioritize what we do. If a half dozen people are unhappy over the course of the night, so be it, we satisfied the other 3 or 4 dozen. We have automatic machines that we don't have control over, such as when they shut down, auto-clean, decide to stop working, or just plain screw up and don't do what they should. The financial/work day turns over overnight, so there is a period when we don't have access to our system and have to write down your orders and add things up with a calculator and only accept cash (the card reader system has to reset). There also is no single full menu reference, so determining the prices can be a hassle. Some main items can be remembered, but special orders and multiple orders and orders that change 3 or 4 times give some trouble. We have people that mumble their order, fall asleep in their car, are impaired in some way, aren't paying attention, and some that order "umm" for 5 minutes before deciding which dramatically slows down our service speed. There are a LOT of factors in any poor experience. I hope that some dissatisfied customers read this and have a level of understanding and patience in the future. For those of you that refuse, well, BK isn't open 24 hours, sorry :)
I hope to see some of you soon and hope I can make your visit to my McDonald's a pleasant, quick, and satisfying visit!

Read moreNight shift managerial staff was rude, argumentative and unprofessional! So was the clerk at the register! Never in the 8 months I have worked in the food delivery industry as an independent contractor have I ever had a problem with this location until recently! Their unprofessional and unbecoming conduct was recorded and heard by driver support which I was on the phone with at the time whom also advised me to decline the order and leave while apologizing to me for the way I was being treated by the restaurant. Driver support also suggested I contact McDonald's corporate offices about their staff because with the behavior they were displaying they should not be in the customer service industry! They refused to give me the order for the customer because my daughter came in to get it which she had done for the last 8 months and the company I am an independent contractor for does not prohibit it! They welcome additional partners, one to run in and one to drive. Mine just happens to be my daughter. Anyways so when I went in the clerk at the register was already being rude to customers but then ignored me standing there until I said excuse me I am with ubereats, then she proceeded to get an attitude so I walked to the side and called driver support which she rudely yelled children aren't supposed to pick up the order so my response was I am sorry but that is not what the contract I signed says and she has been helping me for the last 8 months and picked up several orders from here while I waited in the car. Which she has done because sometimes there is no where to park and I have to wait in line just to drive around to the otherside so she runs in and grabs it, then when I get to the otherside she is usually out by the time I drive around. This McDonald's has poor ratings to begin with because of how incredibly rude the staff are sometimes. Not to mention they don't always get the orders correct, which also results in the same behavior from customers when I deliver their food and then they go off on me for the order being incorrect. McDonald's Corporate needs to come in and do a whole overhaul with their employees. Some of them clearly should have been fired before being promoted to managers. The night shift managerial staff also rated me poorly in a vindictive manner to which Ubereats did not pay any attention to due to the recorded conversation they had from when the night shift employees and managerial staff were acting the way they...
