Avia Family Dining — Restaurant in Holly Township

I ordered steak and eggs. I was told we are out of the breakfast rib eye steak. We have a sirloin steak though. Great I'll take that instead. She brings me a rare hamburger. So I tell her I'm sorry I didn't realize the sirloin steak was sirloin hamburger. Well it says it in the menu she tells me. So I apologize and ask for the larger dinner rib eye and to just charge me the difference. I cant do that you'll have to order the whole dinner. Ok I tell her bring me that. So I order the steak dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy and a cup of noodle soup to go. She brings me a salad and I just laughed. She says, well what do you want I'll go get that then ,very sarcastically. I said ma'am, Its fine. She then demands that I look at her. I had my head down taking a sip of coffee. So I got a little upset with the demand and said ma'am. I have already, the soup thank you. She stomps off. Then the owner/cook shows up and asked why I didn't want the first steak. I told him that it was my fault for not knowing the steak was ground or I wouldn't have ordered it medium rare. He tells me I should have known. Then the waitress comes back with my dinner. Half of the steak was fat and grizzle, well done. The potatoes were cold and hard with what looked like oil poured over it and a cup of noodles. Then tells me, I'm sorry you can take it out of my tip if you want too but I'm a really good person, rolls her head then stomps off again. So wondering what the hell that has to do with my food I take the bill up to pay. 31.50. First time in my life I didn't leave a tip. One of the worst meals I've ever attempted to eat, and one of the worst waitresses I've ever encountered. I've literally had better meals and service in third world countries. Will...

BEWARE OWNER IS VERY DISRESPECTFUL!!!! Went with my family for Mother’s Day weekend, ordered an omelette that had hashbrowns inside and the menu read that omelettes come with a side of pancakes or hashbrowns I stated I’d like pancakes as the side. When I got the bill and was charged for the pancakes I asked the waitress and she said I didn’t get any sides because the hashbrowns came inside. I politely suggested they make that clearer on the menu. The owner came over and started talking down to me saying “The menu is perfectly clear you’re the only person to ever come in here and not understand.” I told him I didn’t appreciate his tone or the way he was talking down to me. He then started mocking me saying “oh I appreciate you.” Mind you I never asked to speak with him or for my bill to be adjusted I just made a suggestion. Way to ruin my Mother’s Day brunch. Dirty dishes everywhere, breakfast took 45 minutes, and the owner could care less about your experience, take your money else where to somewhere that knows how to be kind and treat customers like humans. That owner should be absolutely ashamed of his behavior. He probably has a hard time keeping staff because he is extremely disrespectful and unkind. I will NEVER be back and strongly advice people think twice before supporting a business...

Waited 30+ minutes for 2 salads, breakfast, and a burger. Breakfast and burger were cold when they came out, the burger and cheese was dried around the edges. My dinner mates Greek salad was not brought out until the rest of us were already finishing our meals. The waitresses were arguing among themselves at the counter about taking the wrong tables food out and our waitress was really rude and never apologized about my friends salad, she didn’t even respond when my friend pointed out she ordered a Greek salad instead of whatever they brought out. She just took the plate and walked away. She didn’t come back until my friend went up to the counter to cancel the order when we were finishing our food. At that point she just walked away again.
