As someone that has worked in Restaurants as a sever, bartender, and manger since I was 16 I can say this was a disappointing 2nd choice due to an error from my first choice in pizza tonight. Will start out by saying the server (didn’t get her name) was great. I got a beer while I waited for the pizza and listened to a guy from the kitchen go to the servers table(they were rolling silverware) and complain about something to do with dishes I believe. Then put down another server for maybe joining a so called guy sport and needing a new dressing room for a female..totally against it then someone brings up Traverse City in a bad way..that did it for me as I lived there 10 years and will be back in a month! I will however never come to Red Devil or recommend them as their pizza on its own tastes like cardboard or just no flavor for $21.. including small 2 topping pizza, beer, and show while...
Read more50 years ago, teachers at Holly met at a new eatery”The Red Devil0” for our parent teacher conferences dinner break. Ever since that time I have been hooked on their lasagna, their dinners and their simple dinner, salad with ranch dressing, and their fabulous bread bowl with the homemade bread rolls that are probably similar to the pizza crust but oh so delicious. Naomi the waitress tonight was wonderful. Well trained great professional waitress. The lasagna was the best. I think my wife and I ever had in several visits to the place. It was cooked perfectly. I really miss their lunch specials that they used to have years ago. It was always wonderful to have a lunch there but now, with obviously inflation in the economy, they are open usually most days after 3 PM, but again for dinner this is absolutely a terrific place in...
Read moreHolly staple for our family since moving to the area in 1980. Place has not changed at all. I simply love eating pizza at the elevated booths overlooking the train tracks, as I did on weekends after middle/high school events listening to the juke box. I didn't see one (juke box), however I would recommend one if feasible. The pizza is made with care, generously portioned toppings, beer is ice cold and the waitstaff is incredibly on par and personable. We like seeing our younger local employees working at Red Devil during the school year as well as college breaks! They have ALWAYS been top notch additions with GREAT attitudes!
Whenever I am in Holly, I make it a point to stop in whether its with my family, friends or solo.
Incredible piece of Holly lore!
Keep up the great fight Red Devil! This 5 decade patron...
