I’ve had a lot of pizza in my life, but nothing, NOTHING compares to the absolute masterpiece I experienced at Antonio’s Pizza in Hollywood, FL. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a revelation. Hands down, the best pizza I’ve ever had, and I’m still dreaming about it days later.
From the moment we walked in, the hospitality blew us away. The staff greeted us with genuine warmth, like we were long-lost cousins dropping by for dinner. The ambience? Perfect. It’s a classic family restaurant vibe—cozy, inviting, with just the right amount of bustle to feel alive but never chaotic. The kind of place where you can tell stories, laugh loud, and settle in like it’s home. Soft lighting and the faint hum of happy chatter set the stage for what was to come.
Then there’s Tony, the owner. This man is the heart and soul of Antonio’s. He didn’t just serve us food; he welcomed us into his world. Tony stopped by our table, cracked a few jokes, and made us feel like true family—not customers, but honored guests. You can tell he pours his passion into every inch of this place, and it shows in the service, too. Our drinks were refilled before we could ask, our questions about the menu answered with enthusiasm, and every little detail handled with care. It’s rare to find service this attentive and authentic.
Now, the food—oh my God, the food. We ordered the Margherita pizza, and I’m convinced it’s what pizza dreams are made of. The crust was a perfect balance of crispy and chewy, with that golden edge that only comes from a master’s touch. The sauce? Bright, fresh, and bursting with sweet tomato flavor—like they plucked the tomatoes that morning. The mozzarella—creamy, melty, and just the right amount, dotted with fresh basil that perfumed every bite. And the olive oil? Perfectly drizzled, a delicate golden thread that tied it all together with a subtle richness. It was so simple yet so flawless, I couldn’t believe how every ingredient sang together. This wasn’t just fresh; it was alive. After every single bite—literally every bite—I couldn’t help but say “wow.” It was involuntary, unstoppable, and completely warranted. I’ve never had a pizza that consistently amazed me like that.
And the garlic rolls? I need to speak to whoever’s in charge of perfection because they nailed it. Warm, soft, and pillowy, with a golden crust and a garlicky, buttery flavor that hit all the right spots. They were so good we ordered a second round before the pizza even arrived—and no regrets.
But the real surprise came at the end: the tiramisu. Tony proudly told us it was made by his son, who has clearly mastered the art of this dessert. One bite, and I was floored. It was the perfect balance—light, creamy, layered with coffee-soaked ladyfingers that melted in your mouth, dusted with just enough cocoa to give it that bittersweet kiss. Not too sweet, not too heavy, but absolutely divine. Tony beamed as he shared how his son perfected it, and you could taste the love and skill in every spoonful. It was the cherry on top of an already unforgettable meal.
Antonio’s isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a memory I’ll carry forever. The combination of that unbeatable Margherita pizza, those heavenly garlic rolls, the out-of-this-world tiramisu, the family-friendly vibe, and Tony’s incredible hospitality made this the best dining experience I’ve ever had. If you’re anywhere near Hollywood, FL, do yourself a favor and go. You won’t just eat—you’ll feel like you’ve found a second home. Truly, the best I’ve ever...
Read moreI just had an amazing meal at Antonio's, in Hollywood, they have only been open a little over a month at this location. The place has Tv's, a small bar and can seat 100 people or so with a couple outside tables, it feels very comfortable and family like, they also have takeout, but I definitely would recommend eating their if you can. The restaurant was fully packed, I can see now why. Toni was our server she was kind, ,friendly snd very attentive with good suggestions. When you first get seated they bring you out these amazing garlic rolls (Best I Have Ever Had!!), I probably ate one to many, for an appetizer we had the Calamari it was crispy and very flavorful it was a big hit 5 stars with a superb red sauce to dip or smother in. The owner Antonio, passed by our table to say hello and welcome us, it seems like he really cares about all his customers as he passed by most table to see how everything was going, he was very nice, friendly and funny as well, he had me laughing. I had the Lasagna with meat sauce not only was it delicious, but it could have fed 2 people with still enough to take home. I would definitely recommend it and order it again, as for my mom she had the Veal Francese with Rigatoni also another 5 star hit, the portion could have fed 2 people as well, all she kept saying is how great it was. To end our meal we split the New York cheesecake with a raspberry sauce, even though we were both full, the owner recommended it, thank goodness he did, it was so good and freshly made with a nice crust. The prices are great especially with the portion sizes, 5 star taste and amazing friendly service. My overall experience was If I could give a 6th star to the restaurant and staff I would. We left happy, over filled and took enough food home for another meal the next day. Thank you Antonio, Toni and friendly staff, we definitely will be back with family and...
Read moreI went there to pick up takeout and was treated rudely by the takeout person from the minute I walked up to takeout counter. First she only told me an amount when I asked for an itemized bill as I had never been there and wanted to verify my order. She comes back annoyed, I give a her a credit card and she never gave it to me to sign and tip. I asked her and she said I don't get the tips, I said I would like to tip she said it's too late. ( I know most pizza takeout spilt tips with kitchen staff as I worked many years in hospitality. ) She actually said I don't care I don't get the tips. I Said do you think its fair you discourage tips for your coworkers. Then a talk man walked up and told me to stop talking. I asked what his issue is he didn't respond and walked away. Than another gentleman from the back came out and brought me my food , he asked if I needed help carrying it out as it was a large order. I said yes, thank you. Than he walked away and didn't help me. I had to exit trying to balance the pizza and several dinners on top of my walker. Horrible experience. Will tell everyone I know as any restaurant that allows their employees to mistreat the handicapped is no where I wanna go. I do need to note there was a lovely woman that works as hostess I think that was very nice to me and even seemed concerned when I left upset. And when I walked out I heard her yelling what happened why is she leaving upset.
I left because it's inappropriate to mistreat the handicapped. I had so much hope when I walked in as it's very nicely remodeled, and hostess was so nice and the same guy that told me to shut up opened the door when I got there, I dont know what happened but disgusted by how I...
