This child woman refused to serve me & threatened to call the police on me because I politely asked her... Read to the end.
I told her I'd wait on the police if she wanted.
Gonna be a BAD review. Of the heathen pictured below. Not the restaurant. That's why they still get 5 stars. And they earn it. Her irrational, childish, beastlike behavior belongs to her. Not the establishment. I love P's!
I'm not the average customer. You can't serve me my food in disgusting ways. They will grab your to go box and stick their unsanitized hands it it. Everyone else doesn't mind. I do. So I always kindly ask them to grab it on the outside. (Thank you, Mr. Lawrence!! & The other servers/team members who accommodate paying customers). When I asked this of the heathen & another worker, they both got upset & refused to serve me. Mr. Lawrence & the young lady with a fro did. Ty again.
I leave reviews. This was always going to get a review bc she's a manager. When I took her picture bc I didn't get her name. She threatened to call the cops. I told her I'll wait. Look, little domesticated foreigner. This is America. We can take pictures. It's not illegal. Then she went screaming & ranting behind the line in front of her team.
I'm not sure this is what P had in mind for leadership. I will be speaking to corporate Lord willing. And this will be reported as high up the chain as possible.
It was horrible. If she worked for me, there would be immediate internal disciplinary action. The lady behaved like a complete kid. It was ridiculous. "He took my picture. He took my picture.
This is America Ta Chi. You need to go back to management training. Or be demoted. Look at her energy. Because I asked politely for you to do something you should be...
Read moreI love the food and workers are so very friendly. They go the extra mile in servicing you. I've been eating at Piccadilly for over 30 years. The manager Chris at Piccadilly on Hollywood Blvd and staff are the best. I have some criticism about the change in the cornbread. It used to taste so buttery and shaped in an elongated shape. My husband and I always go there sometime for the tasty cornbread. Now I'm told the machine that baked this cornbread is broken and there's no knowledge of when it would be repaired. Now we have tasteless cornbread which doesn't taste good. How can a machine make a difference in the way the bread taste? The ingredients are the same. The beef patty also has been changed. It's much firmer, where before it used to be softer and shaped differently . All of these changes were done to save money.. Piccadilly use to serve candy yams all the time, now only on weekends. Even the deserts have changed, smaller and some tasty items no longer served. Bring back the delicious cornbread that's been missing for about 3 months. Other than this i wouldnt trade this place for any other restaurant in south...
Read moreDisappointed by the Rude Treatment at This Location
I had a really unpleasant experience recently that I feel compelled to share. While waiting in the food line, I casually mentioned to my cousin that the fish looked fresher than usual. A male employee overheard and, instead of ignoring or engaging respectfully, loudly snapped and said "y;all always coming in here saying stuff and don't know what y'all talking about." It was completely uncalled for and embarrassing.
I was ready to leave, but my cousin encouraged me to stay and try to enjoy the meal. When I got to the cashier, I asked to speak with the manager. She agreed and went to get him. But when the manager arrived, I realized he was the same person who had been rude earlier. I simply told the cashier, "Never mind. He's the problem."
I contacted corporate a few days later because the situation continued to bother me. Unfortunately, they only allow you to leave a message, and I've yet to hear back.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable ;especially from someone in a leadership role. Customers deserve respect, and I hope this gets...
