Checkers — Restaurant in Hollywood

Extremely rude staff and service, and the irony is that this isn't even the first time. Everytime I went to the walk-in window for a pickup, I had to knock on the window after over 5 minutes lf waiting in the hot sun just to get serviced, then wait another 15-20 minutes for a simple pickup that was ordered in advance before my arrival. So I decided to go through the pickup drive through in my car, and the rude black female employee (don't know her name so I am describing her) has the audacity to snap back and tell me I am lying when I tell her that I've been waiting there for several minutes while 4 employees were inside in plain sight and NO ONE bothered to open the window to ask me who I'm picking up for. She proceeds to cut me off multiple times and close the window at me. Rude and unprofessional. Just because I am picking up does not mean you treat me any less than any other customer. You need to open the window and attend a customer, not walk around pretending you're busy and straight up ignore me for 4-5 minutes. "You need to tell us who you are on the speaker" is NO excuse, I have been to this checkers on pickups several times in the past and the employees who were DOING their job came and opened the window to ask who I am picking up for. They all saw that I was on the window and even KNEW that I was there for a pickup because it is a PICK UP LANE. No excuse. People like her need to either be retrained or replaced. You work for customer service, not...

This Checkers is almost as bad as the other one further West on Pines [that one is god awful do NOT EVER go there]. They have a staff of what seems to be 2 people inside, while they have a line of cars going out into the street, then after 30 minutes of waiting after placing a order you finally get to the window and get a glimpse of what is going on there...which is two employees, both sweeping and not making food, both very very veeeeerrry slow, and after close to 5 minutes of sitting at the window one of them will finally open it up and take the payment, THEN proceed to make what you ordered. The food that I got was a Chicken Cruncher or something like that for $5.49 it was dry and crusty and not even warm. Lettuce was on it but no sauce...

The food was bad let's put it that way. On top of this when I was driving back home after eating the sandwich, I started to feel a tingle in my throat and now the next day [today] I have a cough and light headache. I could have gotten this from anywhere really but the timing is suspect and the workers are so horrific that IF a chicken patty fell on the ground there and they used it anyway I wouldn't be surprised...or if they don't wash their hands or change into new gloves if they cough...Bottom line is I want go here again and I cannot recommend my relatives or friends do either as one of them has immune system issues and that is the last thing...

This location is pretty decent the drive-through service was pretty good. I almost forget that this location is here but I found it recently and have been there a couple times the food was made well and the order was correct. They have a new automated system at the drive-thru where you don't speak to somebody a computer takes your order basically. The first time I didn't do it correctly but they fixed my order for me. The last time I went through everything was correct no mistakes so it takes him to getting used to. Other than that not much else to say Checkers and Arby's are some of the last few fast food places where if you order a large milkshake you will actually get a large milkshake. With inflation and everything else going on right now places like Burger King and McDonald's want to give you a small milkshake and charge you more or the same. Like I don't think Breyers can make their ice cream any smaller they've already done that and it's the same price as Publix premium or Blue Bell as an example. So if you like milkshakes checkers is a good choice. Most the time when I get fast food it's because I'm in a hurry and it makes a difference where I go based on whether I'm going to get a good milkshake or not so thumbs...
