Linda Cafe — Restaurant in Hollywood

October 2025. Cutesy place with lots and lots of tchotchkes placed all over. Clean. Not busy as I was the only diner on my late morning visit. Food is attractively served and I was served what I ordered. A few surprises, though. My cup of regular coffee, with milk on the side, was served with hot dairy milk. It was replaced with cold milk at my request. The milk (with the coffee) cost me $1 extra. That ‘s a new one on me. My $15 panini was as per the menu listing. It arrived, after 2 where-is-it inquiries, 25 minutes after ordering. Still hungry, I ordered a slice of cheesecake, $12 and actually better than the panini. Asking for the check, I was provided with the wireless card reader which added a $1++ to the bill. (Yup, you pay to pay.). I skipped the large print add-a-tip screen. The server was quick to let me know that the tip was not included in the tab. Too bad the service was not as fast. No tip. Thankfully Florida has a new higher minimum wage for tipped workers. Hope the proprietor is on top of this. This, at least, is law. Good place to visit if you enjoy viewing tchotchkes. Don’t...

Horrendous service.

I could excuse the long wait to order and even longer wait for just a few Boba teas and two americanos. But after bringing our drinks the waitress wouldnt bring us milk for our americano coffees, explaining that she'd need to charge for a cup of milk. We politely said she must be mistaken and asked to speak with a manager . She said twice she'd get a manager. We waiting with our coffees sitting in front of us. After asking a third time, she said the manager's busy but said we wouldn't get milk because it's not a latte (?!). Imagine losing a customer forever over ten...

If I could give this place zero stars I would. First off the owner Linda is horrible and she treat her customers and even her workers like they are nothing. I heard her degrading one of her employees. Second the food is way overpriced for the quality and the taste wasn’t that great. I got the Israeli breakfast and the bread was so dry. She claims to have speciality coffee but it was so bad. It tasted sour and the place smelled to bad when I walked in. I would never come to this place again. Linda needs to fix her attitude...
