Midnight Cookies & Cream Hollywood — Restaurant in Hollywood

I was in the neighborhood and saw this place for the first time. I decided I would check it out. My husband loves cookies and wanted to surprise him. That night their selection of cookies to purchase was a variety of about sixteen cookies. Instead of just buying one or two I asked if they had a better deal if you purchase more. Now they had two employees and one very young manager all listening to my request. None answered me. I then said let me just look what you have over there. I then noticed on the wall this (Six assortment of any cookies$20.95 (Excluding sweet shot cookie). I said to myself when I asked why didn't they mention it. I then told all three of them, the cashier, employee and manager which cookies I would like avoiding the SWEET SHOT COOKIE. After picking our three cookies I asked them their favorites. As I was about to pay the young manager girl said that four of my cookies would be an additional 1.25 each. I asked why. She said because they are new to the menu. This didn't make ANY sense! The menu states ANY 6 COOKIES EXCEPT THE SWEET SHOT COOKIE. They NEVER mentioned anything to me as I picked out my six for the deal they knew I was picking and ONLY mentioned it as I picked my last cookie. This is poor customer service and management that no where on the wall OR next to the cookie selection was there ANY POSTING of an upcharge in the 6 cookie deal should you pick out these specific cookies. I told that to the manager and she said that because they are new cookies they are more. I told her that doesn't make sense and she brushed it off. I asked if this one time she can honor the deal on the wall and she flat out said she can not! I canceled the order and they lost a customer! I don't do business with establishments that offer goods for one price and then charge you more...

Ordered vegan ice cream the young man here gave me regular ice cream which made me extremely sick , vomiting , the works / I walk back in to let them know they severed me the wrong thing , the young lady’s first response was I am glad you came back because we didn’t charge you instead of apologizing that you served me something that made me sick. She was very combative so I started to record her. She was more concerned about me recording her that about the fact that I am horribly sick from being served the wrong thing because of your mistake even though I checked twice when ordering. I actually went back and apologized to the young man because that could be my son and I didn’t want him to have a bad night however the young lady who was there arguing about me recording her instead of being considerate about me being served something that made me sick was the breaking point for me. I understand the young man was new and I felt bad for him but young lady you were horrible and you need a customer service lesson. You should have refunded me for my entire order. Talking about me recording your bad customer service. Absolutely ridiculous. Get some customer service training and make sure you have your items labeled correctly so others do not become Wock from being served the wrong thing. Like you said your mom. Is allergic to onions if someone sold her items with onions and she said she ended up in the hospital recording the persons bad customer service and witnessing no accountability would be the least of your worries. I ordered Midnight Cookies off of Uber Eats tonight to try them for the first time. I got four cookies: red velvet, butter crunch, Nutella, and creme brûlée. They were all packed in one box, so the butter crunch toppings got all over the other cookies, but I didn’t really mind. All of the cookies I received are really big portions and definitely worth the price tag.

My favorite was the butter crunch cookie- especially because I am such a big fan of Captain Crunch cereal. It was really soft and doughy which is how I like my cookies. My second favorite would have to be the red velvet. The red velvet cookie was not the most flavorful cookie, but it was good enough. Very soft as well.

The Nutella and creme brûlée cookies were not on my list of cookies I would try again. The Nutella cookie was crunchy, which I don’t mind, but was super rich and not my taste personally. It’s worth trying at least once if you like chocolate and Nutella. The creme brûlée cookie was very soggy when it arrived to me- so I am unsure if that’s how they come or if it’s because I had them delivered. Regardless, I wouldn’t get that cookie again. It was super, super sweet and to me just wasn’t that appetizing. Again, it could be the fact that it was delivered to me.
